And he just heard her murmer… mujhe…nahi chahiye….kisi…ki madad….nahi chahiye……nahi…

He immediately picked her up in his arms and carried her to the college sickroom. She was breathing heavily, her temperature was soaring high. In that condition, he couldn't have risked taking her anywhere else and moreover he didn't know where she lived! So the safest place was the college sickroom. The nurse was still there because the sports club had stayed back for the practice that day. Incase they needed her!

He barged into the room with her lying lifelessly in his arms. He panicked when she stopped murmering!

Maan: nurse…nurse….please see to her quickly..

The nurse came running and immediately checked her temperature. She asked him to lay her on the nearby bed and he did! He was so worried that even before the nurse could chek her, he loaded her with thousands of questions….is she alright? What happened to her? and etc etc etc!

And it was not long when the nurse had to tell: calm down Maan…let me chek ne..they only I can tell you anything!

Maan sighed and sat beside her. the nurse checked her temperature and pulse and gave her an injection on her arm. She twitched in pain! Maan immediately and held her hand. Her temperature was still high! He rubbed her palms and looked at the nurse!

Nurse (worried): hasn't she been eating properly?

Maan was surprised at this! Yes, she did look pale since yesterday.

Nurse: she is extremely weak and that's what is taking a toll on her.

Maan: umm..she always keeps herself busy in her work.

Nurse: she is the students' council president right?

Maan: umm yes!

Nurse: she is pretty strong I should say to bear with the boys being the only girl there! But she should take care of herself. She is pretty much stressed out.

Maan (nodding his head): she really doesn't take care of herself.

Nurse: okay Maan…I sould leave now. I've given her an injection. This should bring down her temperature soon. Nothing to worry! Will you be staying here with her?

Maan: yes

Nurse: anyways, she will be up soon. Make sure she eats something after she wakes up. I'm giving you some vitamin tablets, give it to her. she must take one every day after food.

She handed his the medicines and left. Maan sat quietly beside her. she seemed as if she was in deep sleep….so calm and so silent…no frown on her face….he couldn't believe he was seeing the same wild evil prez who keeps on proving her evilness anywhere and everywhere! She looked like a baby…so pink and so cute!

She twitched again and held her and softly, caressing the back of her palm. Her temperature was a bit down. He sighed in relief and sat silently!

It has been nearly one and a half hours since he has been sitting with her like that..still holding her hand and looking at her innocent face.

he whole room glowed red with the red rays of the setting sun..that penetrated the room through the large window! Everything was so calm and peaceful.

Maan checked her temperature…it had substantially gone down! That was a quick relief. Maan held her hand witrh his and caressed her cheek with the other hand! It felt as if he was just holding onto the softest feather….so smooth was her skin…

Maan (soflty): tum waisi nahi ho jaisa sabko dikhati ho….phir aisi kaun si baat hain geet jis wajah se tum apna asli chehra chupati rehi ho sabse?

Her saw her twitch her brows…more of agony it was…Maan immediately caressed her head.

Maan (softly): geet…are you wake?

He saw her face turning into a painful expression…he wondered what happened to her!

Maan (worried): geet???

Geet (murmuring with her eyes closed): pa…..pa……

Maan looked at her face and was shocked to see tears in her eyes in that half conscious self of hers. He leaned towards her and patted her cheeks…geet…utho…heet!

Geet (still murmuring): pa…paa….wh..where a a re y..you?

Tears flowed endlessly from her closed eyes. Maan tried to wake her up but she didn't open her eyes. She moved her head left and right..as if she was in great pain….held the pillow tightly and moved her legs in frustration. Maan immediately got hold of her hands again and tried to calm her!

Maan: geet…open your eyes….geet…geet utho…

She started sobbing bitterly. Maan got up and sat beside her on the bed and tried to wake her up shaking her by holding her shoulders!

Geet: papa….i…i…want to go..to you… (sob) please….pa…pa…p…pl..please

Maan got really worried about her…he knew that she has having a bad dream and the best cure was to wake her up by any means.

She had started screaming by mow.

Geet (crying): papa….ruko….stop…where are you taking him…stop…mujhe papa ke paas jaana hai…..paaapaaa………

Maan continuosly shook her to wake her up…he even patted her cheeks a bit hard!

Geet (crying): papaaa…….mat jao…..NO…don't….

And she scread, "paaapaaa"

And opened her eyes slowly…she could see a blurred vision of Maan sitting close to her with her tear clouded eyes……..she was feeling suffocated!!!! Maan saw her opening her eyes slowly and sighed in relief!

Maan (softly, wiping her tears): geet…you okay?

Geet (breaking down): ma..maan…wo…papa…

And before Maan could comprehend anything, she raised herself and hugged him tight…very tight….crying her eyes out! She cried out loud…poured her heart out. Maan was shocked at her behavior for a moment. He just couldn't understand her sudden outburst…he didn't hold her back initially! Rather his hands fell on his sides…numbly! Geet held him tighter….and tighter…

Geet (crying): mujhe papa ke paas janaa hai Maan…I don't want to stay here…I don't…

And she cried…burying her face on his shoulder. Maan felt a pinch in his heart seeing her cry like that! immediately he recalled the night when they had met for the 1^st time…her eyes….they had the same pain as he was feeling today in her cries! He understood very clearly that it had something to do with her past…..may be something was wrong with her parents…she misses her father so much!!!

He wondered if he should hold her back….he hesitated..but he couldn't see her cry like that…somewhere it hurt him a lot! He didn't understand why …neither did he want to because all he was worried about was seeing her breaking down like that!

His hands raised automatically to hold her back….his hands slid slowly and gently over her waist…snaking around her…holding her protectively in his embrace!

She cried and cried and cried like a little child and unknown to Maan, his eyes did shed a drop of tear seeing her condition like this!

He pulled her closer squeezing her waist and caressed her head getly!

Maan: ssshhh geet…don't cry!!!

Geet wound her hands around his neck and pulled him closer!!!

Geet (crying): sab mujhe chod kar chale gaye Maan….sab chod kar chale gaye…mamma bhi nahin hain aaj mere saath….sab mujhe chod kar chale gaye!!!

He patted her head lovingly. By now he was sure that she was feeling lonely without her parents here! He knew from the very beginning that prez had something different in her…but that difference could be so painful to his heart…he never expected that!

Maan (reassuring): sshhh geet….nahi…koi tummhe chod kar nahi jayega…koi nahi! Mein hoon tumhare saath….koi nahi jayega tummhe chodkar..i'll make sure no one does! Please rona band karo…I can't see you crying like this!!!

Strangely, he meant the last lines heartly…he hated to see her cry like that!!! somewhere he was feeling so agonized…just by seeing her tears….so suffocated!

She slowly ceased her crying to little whimpers. She slowly got out of his embrace and wiped her tears looking down! She was still sobbing! Tears still flowing down endlessly!!!

Maan straightened himself and got off the bed and sat on the nearby chair!

Maan (sternly): geet…stop crying!!!

She didn't respond…rather sobbed more!

Maan (sternly): CHUP…..BILKUL CHUP!!! One more tear from your eyes and i….and i…i…

He was struggling for words…what would he say? He thought hard and BINGO! He smiled evily! He took out his latest model smart phone, put it in silent mode and clicked the pic of a sobbing prez! He had switched off the flash too! Clever hun?? Geet was totally unaware of his intentions!!!

Maan (with attitude): if you don't stop crying geet, I will tell everyone in the college that tum bahut roti ho!!!

He was a bit too stren!!!

Kawaii *dancing* yay…yay…"CHUP…BILKUL CHUP" is back…. MK..remember MK scolding his Sweetu like that??? 😳yay…….. but in geet's state of mind, I don't think she even registered that!!! anyways she is not to be blamed…after all its Fairytale…oopsss I mean FAIRY….TAIL???!!!😆

Geet heard him shouting at her and threatening to tell the whole college about her crying. She raised her head to look at him through her teary eyes and made a baby face!!!!

Geet (cutely): sniff….theek hain…nahi rooti!!! Sniff…itna chilla kyun rahe ho????

OMG…she looked sooo cute..he felt he could eat her there and then!!!!

Kawaii *blushing*☺️ oye hoye..itni jaldi bhi kya hain Maan baabu?????

He leaned forwards and pulled her cheeks!!!

Maan (smiling): awww…shooo cute!!!!

Geet (cutely): ouch! It hurts!

She caressed her red cheeks!!! Maan couldn't stop himself and clicked another pic of his cutie prez!!!

Geet (annoyingly): yeh kya kar rahe ho aap?

Maan didn't reply, rather looked at his watch!!! Around 6:30 in the evening! It was getting darker!!! He put his hand in his pocked and took out his stark white, properly ironed and neatly folded hankie and forwarded it to her!!!

Maan: ye lo…wipe ur face!!!

She looked at him cutely….: umm..th…th…thanks!!!!

Kawai *super happy* oMG…guys…do u remember this??? Ohh ammm sooo happy!!! Stupid geet😆!!! But she herself wanted to forget her MK right…lets see for how long!!!!😉

She wiped her face dry, folded the hankie as it was along the creases and gave it back to him!!! He rolled his eyes and put it back in his pocket!!!

Maan: geet…are you feeling better?

Geet: umm..a little!

Maan: can you walk?

Geet: let me try!

She got off the bed and tried to walk but her weakness didn't let her!!! and she stumbled…but as usual…our hotty Munda was there to save the day!!! He supported her, made her sit on the bed and shot a glare!

Maan (angrily): tummhe kya apna khayal rakhne mein takleef hoti hain?

Geet loked at him, gulping down her saliva!!!

Geet (murmuring under her breath): ohh achcha yeh ghamand ke saath saath gussa bhi karte hain!!!!

Maan heard that!!!

Maan (narrowing his brows): kya…kya kaha tumne?

Geet bites her tongue: nahi…kuch nahi!

Maan: tum itna show off karti ho ke you are the EVIL HITLER PREZ but know what…in realy, you are just a cry baby and bahut ziddi bhi!

Geet (angrily): AM NOT A CRYBABY!

Maan: isiliye aaj itna roona dhona!!! Tum sachchi mein pagal ho!!! Ab chalo mere saath!!

Geet: kahan?

Maan (sarcastically): circus dekhne!!!

Geet took his words literally and got super excited!!

Geet (excitedly): circus?? Kahan laga hain? Pata hai mujhe circus dekhna bada achcha lagta hain!!!

Maan wanted tp bang his head on the nearby wall! His prez is utterly and undoubtedly stupid! But somewhere, he was very happy that she was opening upto him!!! He rolled his eyes!

Maan: geet…am taking you out!

Geet (confused): what for?

Maan (irritated): tum bahut sawaal karti ho!

Saying so he lifted her up in his arms and walked off.geet's eyes widened in shock!!!

Geet: ma…Maan aap mujhe kahan le jaa rahe hain?

Maan didn't answer. She started hitting his chest and moved her legs franctically!

Geet: Maan…mujhe niche utariye….utariye mujhe!!!

She struggled hard to get out of his grip but with each of her attempts he held her tighter and walked towards the parking lot!

Geet (shouting): Maan…if you don't put me down immediately..then…then…. mujhse bura koi nahi hoga!!!

Maan didn't even bother to listen to her. he opened the door of his car and shoved her on the seat and put the seatbelt tightly around her!

Maan (with attitude): suno! Apni yeh dhamkiyan na kisi aur ko dena! Mujhe koi fark padne wala nahi samjhi!!!

And he sat on the driver's seat and turned on the igniton!

Geet (panicking): maan…meri gadi to udhar hain (pointing towards her car nearby)what are you doing? Let me go!!!

Maan (angrily): am kidnapping you! Ab khush??? Now shut up will you?

Geet saw his temper for the 1^st time and thought it wiser to keep her mouth shut! He immediately drove to a nearby restaurant and again carried her inside in his arms!!!

Soon as they entered, geet became cautious at the number of eyes staring at them. People literally stared at them with their mouths wide open! Some couples sitting there giggled and geet had to hide her face in his chest out of sheer embarrassment! She knew she he wouldn't listen to her if she asked him to put her down!

She sighed in relief when he placed her on the couch gently. He sat beside her and ordered her food…soup and veg sandwiches without much butter and spice! She kept looking at him and his care in awe!!! Maan saw her staring at him!

Maan (narroeing his brows): kya hua? Aise kya dekh rahi ho?

Geet: wo…umm…yeh khana…

Maan: ek to tum theek se chal nahi paati….upar se you don't take care of yourself! Ab koi to chahiye na tumhara khayal rakhne ke liye!!!

Geet looked down and closed her eyes…recalling how she had hugged him!!!! Man..that was embarrassing!!!

Geet (fumbling): um.mm…sorry!

Maan (raising his brow): for what?

Geet (stammering): wo…uss…w..waqt meine aapko…h….hug kiya na…

Maan wanted to kill himself there and then! Does she even realize how much her closeness had made him happy? But he preferred explain nothing to this dumb girl!!!

Maan (sigh): na…its okay!! You were unconscious!

The waiter got their order and left! Geet looked at the food and made a yucky face!!!!

Maan: ab kya hua?

Geet: Maan…so mnay vegetables in sandwich…mujhse nahi hoga! I hate vegetables!!!

Maan (rolling his eyes): geet you are not well…so you have to eat this!!! No other option!

Geet (making a baby face): but Maan…I can't eat them….i just hate them…especially the tomatoes…that too raw ones…yuck!!!!

Maan (angrily): then who told you to get sick at the 1^st place hun? Nurse had asked me to make you eat something healthy after you wake up!! Sp stop cribbing and eat!!!

Geet (cutely): but Maan…

Maan: geet…if you don't finish up everything soon…am going to MMS this to everyone in the college!

And he took out his phone and showed the pics he had taken of a crying geet!!! She gulped her saliva..when did he take those pics? But the least she wanted was her EVIL PREZ image being destroyed infront of those good-for-nothing boys!!!! She made a very cute baby face hoping to melt him!!! But MSK is MSK!!!! He was least affected. He shot her a deathly glare!!!!

Geet (making a baby face): theek hain…theek hian…stop looking at me with your demon eyes!!!

And she started with the hot vegetable soup making a sad puppy face!!!
