Okay - so I'm not sure if it was a good idea using this song or not - cause the lyrics are Sufi Punjabi (by Rabbi Shergill) But I like the song tons, and it fits GK - and applies to both of them, because it talks of how ideal the love between them is, and that there shall be no one else for either of them, but each other - the way they can be and are!

For convenience, I'm putting down the segment of lyrics used - and the best translation I can make of it? I'm afraid translation is only ever so fair, with that little inevitable fallout of being but translation... Hopefully it will make sense ...

Do review and tell me what you thought? More so for the experiment with this song!

likhya si jis te tu sher Waar-e-Shah da (I found your letter, which contained a couplet by Waar-e-Shah... figuratively this line implies I found your letter today which spoke of your un-confessed feelings)

Pad ke si usnu aanju ik dulya

aakhan'ch band si, ae raaz aaj khulya (Reading the letter, a tear I had kept secretly inside escaped, came rolling down and in the trail of its wake revealed the buried secret)

Ki tere bin, ae mere hanju,

kise naiyon chumna (No one but you shall kiss away my tear)

Ki tere bin, ae mere hanju

mitti vich rulna (Without you, my tears shall fall away and be lost to oblivion untended)

Tere bin, saanu sohniya

koi hor, naiyo labhna (I shall never find another, but you...)

Jo deve roohan nu sukoon

chuke jo nakhra mera - x2 (No other who would calm my soul, and bear my whims like you)

That was beautiful!! Thanks for the translation (I needed it) but your scene selection is just perfect! Loved the letter scenes and the way Kesu scrunches up his nose during the 'nakhra' lyric! 😆

ooo the scenes were so beautiful , such a wonderful collection to treasure ...and thanks for the translation , though I wud hv understood it aadha-adhura... but now I know the words were also so apt... I especially liked the precision with which you matched the "hollow laughter" of Kesar with the "but did not laugh" of Gulaal ...

Also , I noticed the pace of the song was quite fast ,but you still managed to weave in complete sequences intricately, to match all words ..I think that was a brilliant combination of both left and right brain (and sorry for this left brain comment to your beautiful right brain VM !😊)

Enjoyed it and savoured the class and finesse that's there in all your posts be they of whatever type...

I am glad to have met you in this forum - you are a class apart , just like this show !👏👏

And I love you for this gift to us and am glad to have the privilege of reading your posts..

That scene with gulaal looking back with champa..that was sooo cute

oh that was superb when Kesar remembers gulaal's surrender and promise to leave him..and he cries👏

That was bang on Jzee..that was actually a shallow laugh..and Gulaal's hansi didn't seem to be in sync with his laugh👏
