CBG I agree with you in many villages the head or zamindar of tht particulr or panchayat do solve the problems..my point is that there no more Raj Purohits nowadays..it was during Maharaja's rule or Kings used to run the states..and who has nominated RP?..whose state is he of a RP..?New Delhi.?😆or Bihar..

No...but if it wasnt for that profecy that the next rjp is the youngest son he would have just selected rohan...and then we turn where we left...is this tradition good? Without analisying the man behind the title the whole society may come down...so why this title anyway...someone has to be upper to select the rite one...but i dont see who...lets ask cv? 😆 😆

LOL! You guys- we all know that Cb land is beyond question! We love this show for this very reason. As for the duties and responsibilities of a "Raj Guru" or Rajprohit, apart from treating Dev as an unpaid clerk/ project manager/ accountant and temp substitute "judge" the RPship looks more like a modern updated version of someone who is in charge of a huge trust and needs to be able to act as a trustee in the best interests of the trust and its charter.
