I am a die-hard Abhay fan and Abhay-Piya drive me crazy but thr r certain things I def donot like abt Abhay and the most impt complaint I have is -- the way he talks to him mom , ok she mite not be ur biological mom but u have accepted her as ur mom nevertheless and u care for her and she absolutely cares for u. Haseena does love Abhay the way a mom shd and is always wrried and protective abt him but Abhay is so rude to her most of the times which acc to me is not acceptable. in the most recent times, he cuts the call on her when she asks him to come away from the Khurana house and the Pnachi issue-- Abhay need not be so rude while telling her to keep out of this matter. I mean he could have told her politely as well or may be infact explain to her that all this is natak , but he jus says "apko samjhne ki koi zaroorat nahin" which is sheer arrogance. I donot care if u r rude to someone who doesnt care abt u, but Pia, Haseena and Chand are very impt in ur life and they really love u and always anxious for u but alas u end up hurting ppl who luv u the most :(
Dont get me wrong frnds, as I mentioned I absolutely adore Abahy Raicahnd and I also know he loves his mom n dad, but here I m talking abt the way he talks to them , tahts all...

Abhay's relationship with his mother and father is very realistic.

He is fiercely protective of them, but when he has made up his mind about somethings, he argues and rebels. He may not always be right. In fact sometimes he is downright foolish in his judgments, when it comes to the Dobriyal sisters.

I think the family ties of the Raichands is very realistically portrayed. That's what I like about this story.

Initially, we saw how the parents and the son were inimical towards each other. They were trying to impose their views and expectations of 'normal' behaviour on him, and his reaction was normal.

The Raichands may not be the 'perfect' loving-laughing, too-good-to-be-true family that we usually see on the big and small screen. The are real, with their differences.

Time and again, they have proven (ironically though) that blood is thicker than water.

They are in way related by blood, you know. 😊
