I have been through a lot of issues that had left me with bitterness, anger and hatred.
I have also gone through a lot of spiritual counseling which led me to different forgiveness techniques and different ways of letting go... and forgiveness as a higher order of being rather than punishment.
So, in the unanimous call to punish Jagya -- I wonder where (if anywhere) is the place to forgive Jagya? 😆😆
One of the spiritual counseling techniques is called "Radical forgiveness"... (can be found by googling)... and radical forgiveness comes through re-framing the issue that the person who harmed you has actually done you good... that they and you had some sort of "contract" with each other spiritually to interact with each other for the highest good.
In such a case, through a radical forgiveness framework, for example, anandi can see the good in Jagya and thank him for his abandonment releasing her (in a spiritual sense) from being a beendhni and freeing her to be who she is really meant to be - a social worker. His abandonment also has given her a sharp focus to be a cause.
In this case, there really is nothing to punish Jagya because he really was being a friend to her.
