Do you prefer working out in the gym or any other form of exercise and why?
I enjoy working out at the gym and visit it regularly after my pack up. I make sure to hit the gym at least four or five days a week. I have a personal trainer who plans an exercise regime according to my body type.
What is your fitness regime?
My trainer makes sure that I have a complete workout including chest, shoulders, legs and abs. After the workout, I also do some cardio exercises. Everyone's body requires at least two days rest, so I don't workout on the days but take a break from the gym too.
Have you always been conscious about fitness or got aware after entering the television industry?
I have been working out since my college days and have been very particular about being fit since the past five or six years. My profession demands that I maintain a good body. But even if I was not into acting I would have been equally passionate about fitness.
What foods do you include in your diet and what do you avoid?
I completely avoid junk food which includes burgers, pizzas and noodles. I have a lot of fruits and salads and other low fat food. I also make sure that I consume a lot of water throughout the day.
Which are your problem areas and how did you work on them?
Touchwood, I have never had any major problem areas. I have never had much trouble maintaining a healthy body and normal weight.
What exercises would you recommend to fans?
It is difficult for working professionals to find time to workout at the gym but if you can manage that is great. If you can't then at least try jogging or walking. Both these exercises are good for the body and help lose weight. It has worked for me and I would like to recommend it to fans too.
Which actors inspired you with their fitness levels?
Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar are the fittest actors in the industry. Akshay is the fittest and nobody can match up to him.
Which is the most memorable compliment that you have received for your body?
My fans have always been very generous with compliments. A memorable one came from a young girl who said that ? You have a hot and sexy body.

Me already going to join the gym..

Running and walking is the most imprtant thing to do to be fit and drinking water and healthy stuff will be good LOL

ya... he looks cool but whats the point... the show is a crap... Nizam is under untilized in this show and for a year and a half now he has been wasting his talent without any proper scenes other than holding his bag and going to the office, scolding gopi and buttering his mom

I also never have time to go to the gym also I hate excising in that closed environment. My work colleagues are addicted to the gym, every class they are going to, it makes you self concious, when they come back so toned. However, I think running is very important, so I make time to do workout every few days. Also when walking anywhere, do it fast, make sure your exertion counts towards exercise, you must be out of breath. Well I've shared what works for me.
