This time I will join the insolence of the PH and channel of this show.. to cite the source of this article brazenly... This apparently is last measure b4 they end the show.. if thts it.. THEN END THE SHOW.. BUT WE WANT SHIV SUBRAMANIAM AS IMV.. TILL THE LAST SCENE.. I have to scream to reach deaf ears here..Already ppl on fb are protesting.. loads saying we will stop watching if shiv leaves.. in such a scenario.. m thinking the makers have a real grand strategy of GAINING TRPs here🤣..

Shiv's and Mukti Bandhan's fate dangling by a thread

The news of Shiv Subramanium aka I M Virani being replaced in Colors' Mukti Bandhan has been doing the rounds for quite some time now. In fact TellyChakkar had contacted both the actor and the production house way back in May 2011 for a confirmation. Both had denied the news that the protagonist would be replaced. But once again the news of him being replaced gather wind. And now the news can very well be true though Shiv still has no clue about this development. But there could be some corroboration to this news as the actor was found missing from the National Anthem video which was recently shot by the channel on the occasion of Independence Day.

A source says, "The channel was not very happy with Shiv's performance in the show. But things did not change for the better and now the production house is chalking out plans to improve the show's TRP. They are even considering replacing Shiv with some other face. Due to low TRPs the show was shifted to 11pm slot but if the numbers don't better then it will be finally pulled off air."

Another source says, "Mukti Bandhan introduced a lot of new faces initially which did not work for the show, so later known faces like Hunar Hali, Rahil Azam andRajeev Mehta were introduced. However the show kept sliding down and now the channel has taken one last shot by shifting the show to a late night slot."

However, Shiv will go missing not only from the show. "The current track will show I M Virani leaving for London and as far as the National Anthem video is concerned the actor did not shoot for it," added the source.

When contacted Shiv denied the news and said, "I have been discussing about the upcoming tracks with the production house. As far as the current track is concerned I will be shown leaving for London." However, the actor seemed clueless when asked why he wasn't part of the recently shot National Anthem.

Ashutosh Rana and Chetan Pandit are reportedly being considered to play the role I M Virani.

All that remains to be seen is whether the ship will go down with the captain or will the captain desert the ship. Time will soon tell

and this is the source of the National Anthem (Indian) spl vid for colors marking the independence day where Shiv was conveniently left out.. and Sid and Esha were included.. so those poor new actors have to shoulder the responsibility of being the face of this show now.. till they find a face which they THINK JUSTIFIES IMV👎🏼

Makes me cynical...don't ever get attached 2 any show...it's better dey continue wid d original idea nd end d show early, instead of changing d whole essence of d show, as dey r bound 2 loose d loyal viewers nd I doubt tht dey'll gain new viewers.

And while I am on a spamming spree and before I hit the bed.. I know these are the same makers who we have loved and appreciated for their work... and those very sentiments give me the right to question their psyche when they play Frankestein..

Here goes makers.. I Challenge you.. to find any other man that carries this aura.. with such elan.. who makes wickedness look cool.. who makes you believe HE IS I M VIRANI...

I share the exact sentiments. I feel stupid.. really stupid.. to fall for this yet again.. After connecting to Sarabhai and Rishta.com.. both of which never got a renewal.. their fault being. .they were classy and made sense..

yrs later I connected to one show.. and Shiv was instrumental in it.. for making IMV so intriguing for me.. much before I adored VD.. much before I was awed by Deepti's portrayal of CP..

I am in the process of exercising detachment gradually.. never been an eternal optimist.. and I have no reasons to be one.. in the mirky land of capitalism.. what an irony.. tht for that they butcher the essence of the very character that stands for that.. IMV...

HAIL the Saases and Bahus.. you deserve to rule telly kingdom.. no mortal has the right to any thing remotely better... what a vicious cycle..

so production house has a last chance to make mb work,

why blame channel, blame viewrs too who just want to watch stupid saas bahu stuff😡

uhhh now its up to vaibhav and devki to save this show, isiliye they have bought sabina to focus on the triangle

mb has lotys of story left and i would be really disappointed if the show has abrupt ending

If you can't take lower TRPs Colors, stop making shows that aren't meant for masses to begin with! And yes, the show is gonna end anyways, Chetan n Rana aren't bringing any trps ... so just let the show end decently with Shiv.

I donno wat to say!! Replacing Shiv as IMV is a Ridiculous Move by the channel 😳 I hope he isn't replaced coz i m so sure the reason for which they are thinking of Replacing Shiv i.e the so called TRP's will slid more down and I m sure this move is Gonna be an EPIC FAIL!! I have always loved MB this is one of few shows on television which deserves appreciation n recognition It wud be really disappointing if Shiv is replaced or MB is pulled off air!! Coz Colors do not know Wat a Master piece they shall let go if MB is ENDED 😔 I REALLY DETEST THIS TRP System!! 🤢

i think we should somehow try conveying these mshs to the creatives..i don't know how...hope they read this forum..otherwise we can send e-mails..even i'm losing interest in the show already 😒 Its hard for me to digest.. If there should be any replacements in the show IMV should be the last one to leave the show coz he is the strength of the show..
