Shahid Kapoor gives unsolicited advice to Salman, who takes offence and walks out of Shahid-starrer

Salman Khan does not take kindly to anyone giving him unsolicited advice. So when Shahid Kapoor tried to give some uncalled-for advice to him during the Rockstar shows, obviously Sallu took offence. He was not going to take tips about performing on stage from a newcomer!

So Sallu got angry. And decided to opt out of Satish Kaushik's Milenge Milenge which also stars Shahid. Our source says, "Shahid is a good guy, but he is immature. Salman is a fun-loving person and he is fond of everyone. But he likes his juniors to respect him. Obviously, he wasn't going to appreciate a four-film-old Shahid interfering in his performance." The showdown happened in the US, where they were performing. Salman, who is known for his hot temper attitude apparently refused to perform if Shahid hung around.

"The organisers are having tough time handling the stars' egos. Incidentally, Kareena is trying to make peace between the two. But it seems even Bebo's magic is not working now," says our source.

Shahid was taken aback when he learnt that Salman tried to oust him from the world tour. However, when that failed, Salman decided to opt out from Satish Kaushik's film Milenge Milenge. The Shahid-Kareena starrer has been waiting to be released since the last two years. Although the film is complete, producer Boney Kapoor is keen on Salman doing a cameo and an item number in the film. However, after his spat with Shahid, Sallu apparently called up Boney Kapoor to inform him about the lack of dates and his inability to do the item number.

When contacted, Satish Kaushik, director of Milenge Milenge, said, "We were considering Salman for a cameo, but nothing was finalised. I don't know whether he is doing the film or not. Neither am I aware of any panga (tiff) between Salman and Shahid. Salman is in touch with Boney Kapoor."

Yesterday, there were reports of a jhagda between Shahid and Sallu in USA. It was alleged that Shahid dared to give some performing advice to Salman during the show.

Subsequently, Khan walked out of a special appearance in the Shahid-starrer Milenge Milenge.

Mohammed Morani, one of the organisers, called us to say, "It's all rubbish! Everything's well, peaceful and rocking! We're all having a fantastic time here. In fact, after hearing about this 'fight' Salman is laughing."

Kareena, too, is amused by the reports, "Salman and the boys are sitting and playing cards together. Why'd they do that if they we're fighting?"
