Mud slinging match is going on in the Patwardan house, and Rohini targets her venom on Naina, and adds fuel to the fire, and Naina, keeps her mouth shut, and does not reply to her accusations, as she has higher standards of morality, and values the promise she made to Akruti, unwise though it was. Her fault was trusting Ayush, but the people in this room do not know about him. Daksh feels that Naina should have confided in her, once it is made known by Akruti, that they are all pouncing on the wrong person, and the whole fault was hers, as she did all those things which should not have been done, and took an undertaking from Naina that she will not divulge it to others, after she came to know about this situation, and in spite of her better sense, she agreed with her, since she did not want her to face the same ordeal she once had faced, which led to her to commit suicide. The motive she does not elaborate, but the immediate family members get the drift. It is the outsiders, Rohini and Sonakshi, who become vocal, in their pontification, and showing others that their moral values are higher than the riff-raff, who surround them. The irony is, that Sonakshi does not know as yet, that her mother is also the one who brought Naina into this world, and clamped on her the ignominious title of an illegitimate child. Sonakshi waxes high, on the subject, that Naina should not have encouraged Akruti. She goes to fan the fire, upstairs to meet Rohini, and while offering the tea to her, she also gives her own side of the opinion, that she fully supports her, - wonderful, would be daughter in law, hand in glove with the old viper creeping in the house Her husband is lame, and feeble, that all he can do is tell her not to do it, but with a mild docility of a hen pecked husband.
As Kaka decides that he has enough, and wants to send Naina away, his daughter sides with the girl, whom they are all defaming. Daksh warms up, and Sonakshi feels threatened. As the topic of Ayush comes up, and when Akruti tells him, how he betrayed her trust, for his low ends, and made her ask her to tell Naina a lie, that he would come and meet her parents, when she took Naina with her to meet Ayush, they are dumb struck. Rohini and Sonakshi, still feel, that it was Naina who had to tell the family about it, and Naina does not answer. Only Vidhyadar defends her, and Kaka is made to remain, quiet for a moment, till they try and find a solution to the matter. Rohini feels that this is a hopeless case, and continues blaming Naina, - who has threatended her supremacy in the house, without wanting to do so. This fear drives Rohini nuts.
Naina wants to take Akruti aside, so that she too can calm down, but she is still upset. Daksh on hearing the name of Ayush, leaves the house, without informing anyone, as the rest are busy slinging accusations, and the wiser lot, trying to din sense, and no one gives the sense that the other one is understood. Each one is in their own world, and driving to settle scores, and make their point heard.
When Sonakshi finds Daksh missing, she inquires where he is, and Naina guesses where he might have gone, and in fact her guess is the right one. Daksh stops in front of Ayush's gate, and he is watering some plants. There is an encounter between the two, and Daksh accuses the flamboyant Ayush of betrayal, and they come to blows, and when the watchman adds his blows, Daksh gets hurt on his head, and he leaves the place.
At home, Sonakshi tries to give the impression, that she is a would be daughter in law, and asserts her position, asking them about the whereabouts of her fiance. When she does not get answer, she tries to call him, and complains that he does not pick her phone call. Then, Naina decides to call him, and he picks her call, and replies to her that he will come shortly, and this does not sit well on Sonakshi, as in her battle for acceptance, she has to fight it out alone.
As the serial ends, we see all of them fussing after Daish whose forehead is bleeding, and Sonakshi tries to apply some medication with a cotton ball, and Daksh stops her hand from touching him, and tells her to leave it alone, and then she looks at Naina angrily, feeling that Daksh connects better with her, than his presumed fiancee.
