He made his way to the bar , ordered a drink and checked the time, it was 2mins past already and he was irritated that jay was not there on time. It was hard for him not to overhear the convo of the girls sitting close by.

'what happened to that rishta your uncle brought' the girl asked arohi 'did not work, found out he will be staying far away from Bombay, daddu will never send me away so far, and that boy was not my type' 'haan haan mujhe pata hai tumhara type, tall handsome, intelligent, nice, funny , loving caring etc etc and you, how do you expect them to fall for you when u dress like this even to a club' 'so?, I will wait till someone notices me for what I am' arohi replied 'Good luck finding him' 'shefu , tum negative mat bola karo, always think positive' arohi replied. She noticed the guy who was standing just close to them was what shefu just said, tall and handsome, but rest of the qualities she was not able to tell by the cold look he had in his eyes.

Arjun smirked at the convo 'girls' he thot to himself. Turning to his side to get his next drink he saw arohi sipping on her soft drink and moving her hands and emoting her words to her friend, he glanced at her forehead with bindi once more.

Jay arrived just then and quite loudly 'well well well what do I see today, Arjun actually checking out a girl?' he said 'shut up' said arjun 'no seriously, the great arjun who doesnot even look at girls is actually fixing an eye for more than 2 secs, that calls for a toast'. Arohi could not help but hear this. So the name is arjun and she knew whom he was looking at. She felt a little blush 'he who never sees any girls, was looking at her?' she was flattered. She kept throwing glances at arjun to see if he by any chance was looking at her.

He and jay were whispering something among themselves. The inside guy had given some information about the company accounts and arjun was analyzing how he can use the info. Simi and gauri entered and arohi and shefu joined them. Seeing gauri and simi, jay exclaimed, 'oh now I recognize her' 'what?' arjun said irritated. 'no the girl you were just looking' then said 'sorry' seeing arjun's glare, 'that girl who was sitting here, I thought I had seen somewhere , now I remember , she is sanchit's sister' 'who?' arey she is arohi ahluwalia , sanchit ahluwalia's sister' arjun turned to look at her again. Now they had gone away from the table and were standing in a group with two other ladies and talking. He looked at her more keenly now. Arohi turned this way and kept looking at him between her talks.

Sanchit Ahluwalia's sister Arjun's mind had begun calculating the loss he could cause through the business and he thought that was not enough. Now seeing arohi's naive face and her constant glancing at him, an idea budded in his mind. That also meant he had to do things he may not like. But he could do whatever it takes to make his family rest in peace. Arohi saw arjun looking at her keenly and with a smile she waved her hand slowly. He raised his glass as a greeting too, which surprised jay.
