... I understand most of it, but two things confuse me:
1) Didn't Rusty ever look in the mirror, and notice that she's not the same skin colour as her white parents? Wasn't that a hint that she's not White British?
2) I understand she's learnt Hindi from her Pakistani friend, but wtf? How can she be so good at it, in less than a month?
3) Back to question one, how the heck did she not realise she was half-Asian, AT LEAST, if not half-Indian?
