Hey guys! As some of you may know, I had recently done an analyses on Arnav and Kushi's relationship, and decided to do an analyses on Shyam as well. This is my perspective of his character, I hope you guys like it :)

You call yourself a man.
But then how can you take her into your arms, as she weeps for your return, when you imagine another in that physical occupation.
How can you give her false solace of happiness, of warmth, of love and care, when in your immoral heart, these sentiments are intended for another.
How you can you look at her in a manner so tender and amorous, when your thoughts are occupied by another.
How can you feed her yearning, her passion, her love, with your phony words of affection and devotion, when you express implicit concern and ardour in your words to another.
How can you remove any emotions of guilt, shame and remorse from your seemingly inexistent conscience, by simply reassuring yourself on your way of life, your simple want for enjoyment and pleasure.
How can you know and understand the infinite grief, pain, and agony you will induce in her, when she discovers your hidden feelings for another, your hidden truth, and still stand in her presence as if she is yours.
How can you take her reaching, unquestioning hand, and hold it in yours, when you wish it was another's, you could clasp as tightly as she clasp's yours.
How can you even mutter, words of such holly truth and certainly, words that signify eternal love and devotion, when you do not even have the slightest inclination of what they mean.
How can you let her love you, respect you, worship you, when these feelings are not in any sense returned.
Ha, and you call yourself a man.

maybe it's high time we find a different definition for 'man' trish 😵

trust me dere are men like shyam in our societies and da saddest part is dere are women who tolerate them even after gettin to know their true identities & their ugly motives 🤔

love ur allegations against dis freak and i second u in all of 'em. wat struck me last nite was da fact dat he lives with anjali for da sake of his responsibilities tied with da marriage and not for anythin else. he does not love anjali for peanuts, thus he sways her cunningly so he can peacefully resume his mission on kushi. i wonder to wat extent he goes to fulfill his motives against kushi. is it physical? or is it not?!?!!? YIKES!!

Hope this creep's true colours come infront of Raizada's and fast. I can't tolerate how he shows everone that he is such an angel where as he actually is a devil from the worst part of hell.🤢

I completely agree with you. He almost scares me. Although Khushi is more impulsive and vivacious then Anjali, they are both relatively innocent characters, and Shyam is really taking advantage of this. You make a good point, I think he's only staying with Anjali through a sense of duty and nothing else. There are no real feelings of love or affection there. And as for his motive with Kushi being physical? I hope to god no, but who knows? Maybe his motives will serve as catalyst for our passionate hero to come to the rescue in the future ;)

"Devil from the worst part of hell", I honestly couldn't put better myself :P

But yah, this two faced demeanor of his is extremely irritating. And the whole family is just so oblivious to it...I hope the truth comes out soon.

dis storyline hit me few days back trish!!! i'd love to see dat happening and perhaps arnav realizes kushi's not at fault whereas kushi will start hatin arnav more after almost gettin her soul destroyed by his jeeju

kushi's somewhat vocal compared to anjali and im sure she'l figure out shyam's ugly motives sooner. im scared for anjali, hw will she bear da fact dis man's cheatin on her?!?! she'l die when she realizes dis...

Yes, I really liked how you addressed him as a trickster, rather then a monster. If you break through his established mask of malevolance, then there really is a very clever man there. But he's dangerous, that's for sure.

Yes I would love if the story were to rebound like that, and khushi would, in a way, steal arnav's role,
and play the passionate, fiery, hater.

Yes that's true. Khushi's character in general, although ethical, isn't drowned in morality, & I think she would recognize the truth of Shyam's character faster. Anjali's goodness & morality, may over power her practical thinking and character judgment. Plus there's always that factor of passion, in the end Anjali's love for Shyam will probably blind her.
