Every few months there are a gamut of television shows launched. Some have novelty value while other are mere rehashes of old ideas. Here we take a look at the shows launched in last three months and how they fared on telly. Check them out.

Sony's X-Factor

Launched with much fanfare, in two months the fizz from this so-called mammoth show has gone. Now in the staid elimination per week format, X factor is just one of the many shows we have gotten used to watching on tv. No doubt the three judges are cool. Sonu Nigam's wit and charm holds the show as does his versatile singing alongwith Shreya Ghosal while Sanjay Leela Bhansali too adds novelty to this singing reality show.
Fared – average with 1.16 trp.
Happening – the versatile judges.
Not happening – no earth shattering talent among contestants.

Only one universe shattering great talent. My Uncle Kartar Singh. The aliens may abduct him for his talent.😆
Aditya is a great Host too.

This is completely a fake show. The auditions which i gave in lucknow, didn't hv the original judges. Only aditya was present. Bt in the telecast they showed different things. Many singers of lucknow gharana were shown the door who r hundred times better than the singers show. I ws shattered to see the fakeness of this reality show...!! I m talking only abt lucknow auditions.

Ah at least Aditya worked hard. But it's impossible to sit through all the auditions.
They should get some help too.

All these shows are fake.😊 Just move on in life😳😳Anyways, no one will believe you. People go by data, proof etc etc, which is not possible to furnish always.

I hv moved on in my life... Bt this ws my first audition in life. So it ws zor ka jhatka. Wt to say else.

awww robie I hope you get better chances. You know that 16 year old girl, somethign debb. Who sounded like Sunidhi. I am sure they felt her as a challenge or a threat to their position and failed her in the bootcamp

and I am sure there are 100 times better singers than Seema jha, deewana group or others.

Sajda sisters, make my ears bleed really they do not have the softness in their performance. Its very fake

American X factor or Britian X factor is much better. Atleast even the worst of the contestants have some sort of talent in them

I jst wanted to share my experience. Well atleast some of u understood wt i mean to say... Tht audition ground ws filled wit nearly 1000 or more candidates... And 90 % of them jst came for fun... So not everybody got a chance. Since the audition ws jst for a few hours... And the judges were local... Even i cleared the first round and entered the second. Bt there too, none of the three judges were present... They shooted some of the segments wit adi narayan but didn't show them. So after watching the show, my doubts were cleared... Tht there is no reality... Everything is jst showbizz. They dnt bother abt talent... Nt only talking abt myself, bt others too...

You are right, it is a known fact that these shows have about 20 percent talent.The rest of the "singers" are there for what they can 'show' on the show other than their singing talent.

i remember reading in an intw, one of the creative heads of these shows mentioning that we do look for talented singers, that will be 2-3 in a show,rest for average singing and what they get on the show via sob stories,some struggle, something other than the singing.

If we notice, in a 90 mins show, approx 20 mins is out for adz,20 mins for singing,[ am stretching that a bit too far], the rest is for drama .

BTW, the judges full comments about a contestants singing is never shown. They show only parts which can generate talk😳
