Well, I'm back Sooks and with more questions.

Unknown John Doe AKA Geet's stalker one - Cause of death: GSW to the head. Diazepam overdose. (~ 1.9 years after graduation)

Sasha - Cause of death: Drug overdose. (~ 5 yrs after graduation)

Anjali - Cause of death: Asphyxiation. Post-mortem stab wounds and Drug overdose. (~ 7 yrs after graduation)

When did they interview Vikram? You said Vikram and his brother were going to come down to the station for a statement, so I'm not sure how they are ruling out Vikram.

Interviews are done. Deshmukh is going to talk about it next when they start narrowing suspects using profile. Unfortunately I can only write 6000 words in 6 hrs 😆 Next update will cover something more..

Emily is talking about the stalker/killer here. How do they know that he was under medication?

I have written about it in an earlier update. There was a prescription found at stalker's apartment and is cross checked with doctor. He was on cocktail of medication.

I know night tried to answer my question about the cologne the stalker used. Geet's father makes a mention of it and also the fourth victim's statement has a reference to it. So that conforms that Mal didn't put that into Geet's head. This only proves that the stalker was in Geet's life ever since her teen years, but this does not connect the stalker to Geet's senior and I call him Unknown John Doe. There were mention of Geet's artifacts in his apartment, but nothing of the scent was mentioned in the case itself.

No, it isn't mentioned. But that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Then again, the cops still haven't ruled out the possibility that the real stalker maybe still alive. Here is a hint: David still hasn't gotten time to go through everything in that John Doe's apartment. Also, think Greek 😆

Of course in today's part, there is some hints at Mal or Geet visiting the apartment. We don't know who it is, but it's more likely for it to be Mal, given that she was also photographed talking with the senior. And it still doesn't explain why Geet panicked when Sasha took her to the docks. Was it merely because she was aware that her ex-stalker used to stay and murdered close by?

Then there is the question about the blackmailer and the second man Anjali was sleeping with. But Anjali would not have 'smiled unconsciously' at the black mailer, when she got the door. The second man in the picture could have been anjali's ex-boyfriend, but not necessarily. Although, it is confirmed that the black mailer was not the ex-boyfriend because, Geet would have identified him at the club. Is the blackmailer Vikram's brother? (You had mentioned Vikram's brother making an appearance, so I'm guessing it wasn't a mere slip of no significance) And I'm not suspecting the ex-boyfriend to have taken the pictures because, it doesn't make sense for him to be focusing on Geet's room.

If Anjali smiled at her killer, it would mean that she knows the person, right? So it could be anyone. Someone who has not even been introduced perhaps?

Also the detail's of Deshmukh's enquiry from the building where the picture itself was taken still remains open. So I will wait until then.

Yeah. Some more things will come in and also don't forget, Maan is expecting a sketch from the police.

I'm unable to consider Vikram as a candidate for the killer, who accounts for extreme rage in the killings. From the way, the artist screams at Anjali's picture calling her a wh**e and his devolving psyche doesn't add up to a man who could perform. Vikram was physically close to Anjali and the artist definitely is incapable of such confidence needed for intimacy. However he is very much suiting the profile of the killer, who accounts for the guilt part of the murders.

Good point. Its a valid way of eliminating Vikram but then again what if Vikram knew about her other affair? The rage would have taken him over, maybe. So gotta hear what Vikram is going to say.

Given Mal and Geet having similar features, its possible that they are being targeted together and possibly Geet was never the single point of focus at all. But it's all just speculation.

The repeat mention of two distinct personalities, two killers are clear now, but unable to apply them to the MOs of the eve teaser and the murder of the senior. They only make sense in the killings of the women.

Correct. The repeat mention of distinct personalities would help each one of them to separate actions of the killer. If they go around with an assumption that its only one complex behavior, they will never solve this case. When a killer becomes a part of team, the dynamics completely change.

There is a mention in this update where in the group decides to put in a recorded assumption which changed the entire course of investigation - treat Anjali and Sasha's case different than the first two.

Once that was done, a pattern emerged for the second set. If you remember, Maan in second (or was it third) chapter mentions about this. He isn't very clear back then but he was very surprised at the two contrasting behavior and the lack of sexual component in both the kills.

Maan sees it as two different personalities - as Emily explains, the drug overdose part is effeminate while the later is not. This is why he goes on to put in his second assumption.

Now there are just too many variables for me to solve Sooks. I'm just going to step back, until you give me more clues.

PS, This has nothing to do with the story, and I couldn't help noticing it. Do you know that you have an obsession with number 3?. There are just too many 3s in your updates.

3 females go for the trip. The stalker rents the apartment for 3 years, 3 cups of tea, 3 files, 3 victims of the serial rapist, 3 glasses of wine has been poured out of wine bottle, 3 bookcases in Anjali's room, 3 trash cans at their apartment, 3 envelopes of pictures at Anjali's desk, Geet's stalker shows up in the third year, the jasmine in artist's room is buried for 3 seasons, pictures from last 3 months of Anjali's life go missing, Sasha lives with them for 3 years, the gap between 2nd and 3rd murder is approximately 3 years...and so much more. Couldn't help it. 😆

You need to watch an episode of CM where in the UnSub is an arsonist whose psychosis is triggered from number 3 or Trinity of 3. She sets a room on fire - on 3rd March, Wednesday on 3rd floor, room 303.
