Karishma in Pyaar Ke Do Naam Ek Radha Ek

Karishma Tanna, the elegant actor, last seen in Zee's Paalkhi produced by Cinevistaas, will now be seen in Star Plus' primetime show Pyaar Ke Do Naam Ek Radha Ek Shyam. Her track goes on air from next week.

Karishma will be seen in quite a different avatar in the Rajshri show. "Well, I am playing a London returned girl on the daily. I am shown to have done a crash management course in London, and am returning to India," she says.

"I am supposed to be a confident and western woman, but have my ethics and culture in place. I am in touch with my Indian values but I am very modern at the same time," adds Karishma, who is likely to stay put on the show for quite a while. Explaining more about her character, she quips, "I am an extremist, if I love something love it completely, and if I hate something, hate it completely!"

So, will we see her in a love angle with the dusky lead of Pyaar Ke Do Naam….Indraneil Sengupta (Shyam)? " Yes, of course. I certainly will have a love track with him. And later when I realise that he is in love with Radha (Barkha Bisht), I will give up on him," laughs Karishma.

Karishma Tanna has a very different name on the show, Jitisha. Before Paalkhi, in which she played Palak, she portrayed the funny character of the wedding-crazy Indu in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
