why is alexander the great called 'great'

Hi,friends.I am here again with a new topic which has been haunting me for a few weeks and that is why alexander the great called 'great'.ok, i know he conquered the huge part of the world as it was known at that time and he was a great commander but is this the only reasons for calling him great?I need your opinions ,guys, please reply as much ac u all can...😊

Modern historians conferred the 'Great' title to very few kings / emperors amongst them are Alexandar the Great, Alfred the Great of England and from India, Ashoka the great and Akbar the great.

he was great warrior...none could defeat himin his time...so he was called great...

actually his soldiers became tired ...and wanted to go back..and cgm and alex met once but never faught any battle..but he received tough resistance from indians though he won d battles but his soldieres became exausted so he went back

i dont know much about history..but even though alexander existed thousands of yrs ago..he is
still regarded one of the greatest emperors known to mankind..n as the saying goes
jo jeeta wahi sikander..is a testimonial to the fact that he never lost any battle in his life and
conquering so much at such an early is not easy,furthermore he also respected other brave
warriors like porus..so all in all he is rightly called alexander the great👏

actually..apart from being a great warrior he was also a man of values with great thinking...always had great respect for intelligent and brave people..when he was going back to babylon...he said to acharya chanakya , " main talwar kheenche hue aaya tha acharya...hriday dekar jaa raha hun 😊 ...this proves how much respect he had for chanakya and india 😃 ...thats what makes him not only a great warrior but also a great human being...i guess i have sung enough praise for him 😆
