Chapter Six

When Opportunity knocks You out!

Hush fell over the hall as the Deanstep-forward on the podium. "As the final year comes to an end students will soonfind themselves on the threshold of a new life. It has been an objective ofthis institute..."

The voice of the Dean faded away and Geetbecame oblivious to the announcement. Because the moment the lecture startedGeet looked up and found herself staring up the face of the man from few daysback, the one she had unceremoniously bumped into.

The warning came too late as Geet onceagain found herself bumping into Maan, causing her books to be dropped andheart to beat erratically.

And this time it was Maan who apologizedbefore she could even formulate a sentence. He bent down and retrieved herbooks, handing them over to her. A lingering look and he hurried away with hisstaff towards the exit.

So lets talk about the update first..
hmm so the update started with a gathering in auditorium.
The conversation between Pinky and Geet was so NATURAL.
Pinky's lines cracked me up. Mujhe ye suna suna sa kyun lag raha hain?😆
The entire conversation between the friends showed their character.
Pinky..being the optimist..and Geet.. may not be pessimist ut the one who lost faith or lets say who is not yet to believe..

"And by good seats you mean the last row right?"
🤣🤣 This line cracked me up. I love pinky for the very reason. She's so bubbly. She may not be extra ordinary. But the simple and easy going attitude of hers make her all the more adorable... she's gem in her own way.
🤣

And then came the staring session😆
Finally she saw him and noticed him. Her reactions were quite..well..urm.. i ca't define.
let's just say i..i .. while reading i felt.. you-know-what. I can't say the words..well bata hi deti hun.. butterflies..

And then Pinky was the first one to get the words out..while Geet was lost in her own world.
He seems so familiar. As if we meet almost everyday.
Yes, ofcourse he should!😆 Bechara har roz bus stop pe wait jo karta hain!😆

Maan Singh Khurana! The Maan Singh Khurana!! Geet you idiot! Out of all the people you had to go bang right into him. No wonder he is staring so intently at me. Probably thinking of getting her rebuked nice and proper from the college authorities. Oh no! Babaji, help!!

Haha if bumpig will cost you that, well lemme think i always bump into non-living objects of course😆 My refregirator being my favorite bumping machine😆
It amusing and adorable to see her thus, making him wonder at the cause behind it.

Cause.. cause is in front of her Mr.MSK!!😆

And then comes my favorite lines.
Geet and Pinky's convo again was wonderful!

"I am sorry I did not mean to!" Geet sputtered out opening her eyes that were tight shut.

"What?"

"Geeet!! What has happened to you? Mental imbalance due to all the happiness?"

"What?"

"Not again!" Pinky complained. "Your name has just been announced in the list of scholarship winners!!" she squealed as silently as she could.

"What?"

"Geet, look at me, straight in my eyes and listen carefully. The sponsors, Khuranas, have decided to create separate category of scholarship for the art stream as well and your name has been short-listed among the winners. Geet you can study further now!! You can pursue your dream to be a writer!!"

Even i know this was coming,..i felt ecstatic reading this... the joy of success and the happiness you get when you get to know that your dream is going to be fulfilled..can you feel happiness more than that?

"Maan" he abruptly interjected, "Please call me Maan."
Hayye!! yup i said that!
i know you would be rolling your eyes. Thanks for making a tom boy say hayye! 😡 All thanks to you! why do you write so beautifully?
hmph!!

Silence prevailed as Maan, unaccustomed to words, stood before the one who treated them as her constant companion.

This line.. you believe it or ot.. i read 20 times minimum and have muged it up. You have a way with words..👏

"(a) Our college rarely serves the students samosas unless there is an occasion as this." Pinky held out her fingers to start the count. "(b) They serve the best ones to the guests first and only later allow the students to get in line. It was of the utmost importance to me to get the best ones! And (c) You would have done anything but should have stalled him! The MSK!! And he spoke full three sentences to you!! You know the man has a reputation to be a recluse. According to our seniors, till last year his grandmother Savitri Devi was the one who came here for these functions. Now due to her age and health he has taken over."

Pinky do you want to reach the peak of adorableness.. ??😆 She's damn CUTEEE.. i can visualize her lifting her finger and counting😆

And then Geet bumped again!! So she is going to notice him at least now? Or she's going to remain oblivious to his help? I am worried as you said this is going to ed in 2 more parts!😲
I am literally biting my nails.
PS: Female version of MSK!!

Can you please consider my request and make this story an ff, your writing has so much depth that i really feel bad (no matter what is the ending of update) to stop reading ?

behna,,why r u not satisfy wid d update😆,,,stupid u😆,,i love this update,,,congrats to geet, she got scholarship😃,,,n congrats to maan too on meeting geet once again face to face...😃...n i love when msk said plz call me maan,,,😳,,,,thanks to u , this msk is not self obsessed😆...n when he took her hand only one song was playing in my mind- mere hath me tera hath h , sari jannatey mer sath ha😳😆...n after formal meeting she again bumped into maan,😆...i love their bumping bumping game😆..

achha u took samosa idea from ur college na😆,,me too love samosa, only college wala😆
