If this is the case...then its disgusting the way he looks at Khusi...like he is going to eat her!! However, I do tend to agree with you, I too think that Shyaam will be Khushi's brother, and I think he too come from a another BIG family...a family that will somehow be tied to Arnav's father...and as such...Arnav will not be able to openly claim his feelings for Khushi, but circumstances will throw them together...possibly even into a marriage!!😃
