Ganga's Attitude (continued)

If Ganga gets enough support, she may think of taking Amma's position eventually. If you have somebody working in your house, if given enough encouragement by head of the family they can always rule over other members of the family. In this situation, eventually Ganga may become the mistress of the house and take Ammaji's position. Whatever Amma's fault may be, SS's family do not want Ganga to take Amma's position. This is what might happen eventually. Pratigya does not want this to happen and the family to break up this way. Eventhough Amma is evil, Pratigya is putting up with her. Ganga went and complained about Pratigya to SS. She may be well on her way to take Amma's position if given enought encouragement. Pratigya knows what SS is upto. This is one way of nippng in the bud SS's aspirations or dicouraging SS .

Whatever Amma is she is Krishna's mother. Krishna and Pratigya can leave if they are unable to tolerate her however to treat her in a disrespecful way would be wrong They should be wary and not trust her but should not disrespect her. Pratigya handled the situation beautifully in the manner that she used to confront Amma. She is right in supporting her mother in law's position in the home and family
