HEY GUYS DO YOUR HOMEWORK.. NISSAR, GORKY AND GUL OWNS 4 LIONS FILMS SO OBVIOUSLY THEY WILL PROMOTE THE SHOW AND THE NEW SHOW.

WITH GEET THEY HAVE LOT MORE COMPLICATIONS OF OUTSIDE INTRUDERS WHICH WILL RUIN SOMEBODY"S CAREER. I DON'T WANT TO GIVE NAMES BUT YOU ALL KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. ITS TRUTH NO RUMOURS.

Totally agree with you..

But you see that is the latest trend in any field lately.. no loyalty at all to the work one undertakes or for a company they work for.. just dump the project in hand for another one with more money.. I see this happening in my line of work as well... I guess that is the future of work ethics.. I will slowly get used to it as well.. but for right now.. AHHH...😆

I totally agree that the concepts are similar, but the implementation and presentation is different, yet reminiscent of a good story.

I also feel that as a series director...he strives for the best always in any show he works on, be it MJHT, DMG, GHSP or IPKKND. I can clearly see that the mistakes that were made in the planning and execution of the supporting characters and of the various tracks in GHSP are being avoided in IPKKND...and to me that shows growth in his talent and in his career too.

I cannot blame Nissar a series director, or Gul as a Producer...if they want to take the successful concept and launch it on a bigger scale. GHSP was a trial...one that tuned out to be a SUPER HIT, but unfortunately it was launched on STAR ONE and not STAR PLUS...for many different reasons. As STAR ONE has a very limited range in terms of broadcasting (It is broadcasted in only a handful of major cities...not nationally), NISSAR and ENDEMOL were not able to cash in on it as much they deserved to.

Purely from a BUSINESS perspective, keeping in mind DOLLARS and CENTS, profits and margins, it makes total sense that would want to take a good thing like GHSP...or a similar concept..in a different setting, and launch it on a larger scale...it only makes sense.

As for acting, I also agree that GURTI are phenomenal actors...simply superb in their talent and delivery of their chemistry. BUT they should not be compared to Barun and Sanaya...as they are entirely different people with a different skill set.

GURTI simply cannot be in every show on TV, so we will need to accept other actor on TV too...no??

As for Barun and Sanaya...I agree that the acting was somewhat loose in the beginning, BUT i have seen a marked IMPROVEMENT in the last 3 weeks...so KUDOS to Barun and Sanaya too...for working hard and improving their delivery.

Ok...so I have blabbed a lot now...do let me know what you think...!?😛

Let's face it everyone. The show on Star Plus is here to stay and Nissar is there to stay till the next project comes along.

I only wish that he and the others at the PH had left Geet in capable hands and not let it be a launch pad for a series of directors and varied crew mambers.

Today was a prime example...till today I thought Maan's grandpa was called Lala Amarnath Singh Khurana...but now he has become Ranjith...at first I thought it was Maan's dad!

About the other show which seems to be a thorn in the flesh of many Geetians...it is a good show, slightly reminiscent of Geet but focuses far more on family relationships more than just the two main leads.

Therefore, it is suitable for SP and its audience. Geet by its very format would never have suited SP and its audience as it focused mainly on the relationship of its leads and not developing other characters...when they are now thrust on us, we don't want them!

I think, for Nissar it was an experiment that didn't quite work and like somebody here already said,, he is making up for the mistakes with the new show.

That's not to say that the new show is picture perfect but it seems like a good show and for someone like Nissar who mainly dealt with youth-oriented shows till now, this is a great leap in his development as a director of a family-based serial.

Kudos to him!👏

But I hope he's still giving inputs to the Geet team..he must be doing that as his name is still in the credits.
