X Factor - Written Update - July 23

Episode started with Ajay and Atul's performance (song ...Ganapathi song)...All the participants sang with them. Anchor introduced them as National Award winners..They both came for Singham promotions...n Singham video is shown. Shreya too joins Ajay and Atul n sing (Badmaash Dil from Singham). Sonu praises them all.. They both wish all the participants.

Performances..

1. Deewana Group (SLB)
Song: Zindagi Maut na banjaye (Sarfarosh)

Sonu: You have done good thing by selecting this song...it gives me very nice memories...good interpretation...you were wavery initially n took time to gel together..I am very happy..
Shreya: Very good...tarsaptak holding note was good...beautifully sung.
SLB: Awesomely sung. you are back...sung from heart.

2. Amit Yadav (Shreya)
Song: Aayahun main ye nagma sunane (Mission Kashmir)

Sonu: This is what you have come with. I will not say you have done mistakes here and there like Shreya says...but were fantastic, lovely
Shreya: I didnot go n hug anybody since many days...She goes n hugs him..
SLB: Nicely sung...there were mistakes. but your performance was awesome..

3. Nirmitee Group (SLB)
Song: Jai Ho (slumdog millionaire)

Sonu: You got composer, ranger, singer...from few weeks these all were not sinc..but this week they were all perfect..
Shreya: You got all sorts of music n presented as Indian music..
SLB: Hats off...he asks audience to say Jai Ho..which they did...He takes Shreya n go hug the team..

4. Geet Sagar (Shreya)
Song: Haan yehi rastha hai tera (Lakshya)

Sonu: No..it was immature performance..you gave better performances better.. there is something which was missing n you have find it out yourself...how can I say it was good when I didnt like the whole song,,,it was like an orchestra show..
Shreya: I have told you some things...you should have remembered those things...You should work hard.
SLB: I like the spirit. I like the intention with which you sang. I like the approach of serious song...you sang standing at same place which is not your style..but I think it could have been better...

Anchor: Geet do you have any complaints with judges.

5. Seema Jha (Sonu)
Song: mausam ki adla badli (Black)

Tribute to SLB for the film

Sonu: I wanted you to sing this as you have sung all sorts of Lataji's songs...I wanted this side of you to come out. He praises her saying you got versatility
Shreya: You wanted to make us cry n u did it. You took a song which has very nice expression. it was awesome n fantastic.
SLB: Monty made a beautiful song n you sang it wonderfully. I wanna come and take you somewhere. He takes her to Sonu. They 3 hug. His rose falls. He says it fell in her feet. its her right n take it. She comes n takes it n hugs him

A video of Amit dreaming of Seema taking a big rose n running. He thinks I too will get it one day. Then Kartar uncle watching Sajda sisters carrying a big rose..n he thinks it will be with me one day...(weirdoo.😳😆😆😆.)

6. Kartar uncle (Shreya)
Song: chodo kal ki baatein (Hum Hindustani)

Sonu: He asks uncle to sing hum hindustani like in movie n requests to take things like they actually are and says he sang well..
Shreya: I liked the message and simplicity. but I am not happy with your singing as you forgot main tune..we will work hard more..
SLB: From few weeks, this was one of your better performances, same flaws, same mistakes, but you put more effort n spirit

7. Sajda Sisters (SLB)
Song: Ek pyaar ka nagma hai (Shor)

Sonu: you sang very well..you justified it...it was very good.
Shreya: you sang from heart..especially anthra was awesome.
SLB: again you got that feel...getting attached to song. same spirit to show your talent...singing with concentration..you got it back and retain that focus.

I stopped watching the show but i dont mind reading updates. Sahiti has chosen "Badal pe Paon Hai" from Chak De for this episode. Too bad she's out even before she could perform this number 😭
