In yesterdays episode when Vidya fainted, her father assumed she must be pregnant. He said a couple should have a baby straight away after getting married. Because there was no good news he was worried that all was not right between the couple.

Now putting Gaurav being gay to the side, i would like to know your opinions, if a couple once they get married should they have a baby straight away. Is it right for the parents to want to become grandparents as soon as possible. Should the couple be pressured into having a baby?

Now please, this is not about Gaurav being gay, but a couple, any couple, it could be Aditya Priya. I just mentioned Gaurav Vidya because its been mentioned quite a few times about Vidya being pregnant or not pregnant yet.

Her mother told her, since she was the elder bahu, she should give a waaris to the family first.
Brahma mentioned it on on mothers day about Gaurav not giving them good news yet.
And yesterday her dad. And also when Vidya was not well and was sick, Vidyas dadi assumed she was pregnant.
So if a woman faints, feels dizzy or is sick does that necessarily mean shes pregnant? ( Well in serials they do)

I think the couple should only concive when they are truley ready for a child not for thier family e.t.c because in my view the couple have to bring the child up and will have the responsibilty where as family and in-laws will come and see the baby give some presents and go home.

Also in Gaurav and Vidya's case they had an arranged marriage,so they should not be pressured into having a baby because that can only happen once they both are comfortable physicallly and emotionally with each other.
I feel that Vidya's parents and family wanther to have akid so her in-laws dont think there''s anything wrong in her health or that she cant concieve e.t.c

Aditya and Priya had a love marriage,but even then i think they should spend time together and do things as a couple as once a child comes then it is difficult to go out as couple as you dont want to take the baby but you dont want to leave he/she behind as then being parents they would have a worry is my child ok e.t.c even the baby is being looked fater by your parents or in-laws.

Also i dont understand the mentatlity,that if a married woman is vomitting,feels dizzy or faints then she must be preganant! can she not have those symptoms because of other ilness ie food poisning or something.
and whats with the doctor in serials going into the bedroom for all of 2 seconds and coming out and saying khush khabri hai😆😆...I hope in Maryada if and when they show Priya or Vidya finding out thier pregnant😳,be shown realistic...than the above

Pregnancy however good it is ,is a trying time-afterall you are bringing a individual to this world and not some part time time pass pet et all.When people donot understand themselves what is the use of getting another one in the hope of everything geting settled another wrong notion set by out elders " A child will solve all their problems".Simply bringing a child into this world now-adays is not only foolish but also foolhardy-its costly to bring up a child now-a days-education fees have tripled-schools have become more costly and also children have become hyperactive day-by day.Please have a child only when you can responsibly raise him not for anyones will and wish!!1

The views of Vidya's father are what most parents want from their children. However that being said it is ultimately the husband and wife's choice. Some decide to wait others want to make their parents happy and decide why put it off...the choice is individual and there is no right or wrong answer.

yes in villages this still occurs...where parents want to b grandparents

as soon as the girl is marries...

according to them girl should be impregnated the very first night

things r diff with each couple...

so avoid the bhool and use protection...

pls dont ban me m not saying something explicit...its part of the xxx education...

yes,vidya's parents think that if there is a gap between gaurav-vidya then a child will close it but they are wrong...you kind of sympathize with both Vidya and Gaurav...Vidya loves her husband and wants his love but cant tell anyone his seceret and nor can she stay at her parents house for long,and garauv is torn between his love for Karan and this bond with vidya which has no name..its more than friendship but less that lovers.
As Vidya's parents are from a village,they worry for thier daughter as they feel she has gone to a rich house so she should be dutifull and keep her in-laws happy...do what they expect of her..but they dont know the situation vidya and gaurav are in...and its harder because for them gaurav being gay is not the norm...
and regarding SSP commenting about gaurav making him wait for a grandchild,makes me think he knows something is wrong😕

my reply is connected to what another forum memeber said about vidya's parents. im commenting regarding the show as the topic has to be connected to he show itself too. and the topic is also about the characters in the show aswell...

anyway yeah in these shows barf or morning sickness or giddiness =

PREGNANCY ALERT

one more thing i didnt like that vidya's daddy didnt want her to stay with them at all...(he doesnt even know about the prob yet)

Is it fair that a daughter who grew up loving her parents n vice versa isnt allowed to stay home for few days????

I agree, a couple should have a child when they're ready, no matter what anyone says. As for the doctor, they just check the pulse and good news 😆 must be very clever.

No its not fair. A girl should be allowed to go home after marriage whenever she likes. Of course parents would be worried if their daughter stays there for days without ant contact from her husband.
Where it seems Vidya will not get the support of her family, Priya will.
Vidyas dad also said a girl comes home after marriage only if she has good news. Is it true? 😕 Theres also a possibility that Priya could be pregnant when Adi finds out and they split due to trust and misunderstanding. What then? So it doesnt mean if a girl gets pregnant after marriage everything is ok.
