They didn't do too well on Sawan ka mahina but that's the nature of the beast. If you mix up things, sometimes it will work and sometimes it won't. But they are keeping this show alive and I just watch theirs and Deewana group performances every week. Just really glad they are around and enjoying themselves and preventing the show from going down the drain.

Nirmitee group is trying to give an interpretation to old songs based on modern beats and instruments.

It is working some times and not working at other times.

I also agree that their rendition of Sawan Ka mahina was tardy. I feel that this is because the lady in the group could not sing well at high pitch and measure up to the original . By putting in modern orchestration , the soothing feel of the song just vanished and so did the mood!

But their efforts with "Haal Kaisa hai" , " Chalat musafir" and " Chod though aanchal" were pretty good. Maybe because of the peppiness in the original songs which got enhanced !

So probably they have to choose the right song to reinterpret!

I think the culprit is mentor rather the group itself. They have blessings for such improvisation and they are doing it with best of their abilities. Sometimes they shine but some time they fail.

But we had apportunity to hear somthing new here.

Depending on the p[opularity I believe they stay or lost.

Remix trend was popular along Himmy Bhayya's haven facing performances, some time ago. What happened now??

I would'nt call what nirmitee are doing as remixes.

If they are remixes, definitely they are a class apart from the traditional remixes we have been hearing in the past.

They are highly talented and i enjoy their music👏

What ever you call their music, they are like a breath of fresh air on this show.👏
