Pissed - Gulaal ne aaj saari haddien paar kar di! WTH. i was like, "CHIII!"

Pity - poor thing's innocence has been destroyed thoroughly by the world's selfishness and cruelty! so completely obliterated that she thought of one of the purest and happiest reminders of her life when she entered the darkest realm of widow-hood, Kesar, to be just like the others who have been selfish. good god! this woman's truly lost herself somewhere behind. No wonder she's having problems moving ahead and letting others move ahead (like kesar, talli, the rest of the family...)

I like how you put that. She's been through so much that maybe she doesn't have the will to believe in selfless, unconditional love anymore. Even Kesar had showed her the cold shoulder when he returned so that was most probably it for her. Now she's seeing the same person express so much love for her, it's hard for her to handle.

Kesar coming back and then the way he was towards her and daily cold shoulder was i say a turning point in Gulaal herself, to her it didnt matter (in the sense, she didnt hold it against him or her in a way) much he didnt write or let her visit him, she put that aside through the years in hope he will be back to her as the Kesar she loved and hoped, would come back the one she knew, but him coming back and acting as if she meant nothing was a heart-wrenching phase for her... i believe thats when we saw a suble change start from Gulaal throughout to what we have seen from her to now

The things Kesar has done to how he is now - it is a change, and i dont quite blame Gulaal in a way, that its hard to believe this is Kesar and showing her so much love, and its hard to take when you get use to how someone has been to you for so long

She's has been through so much, and she is still standing and the strength in her - strength where she take care of herself, do what she does in house, take on JK's taunts and so on

I agree. From the day Kesar returned from boarding school..his behaviour was never consistent with her. Countless times he showed disrespect to her and then some other point he was taking care of her ..he was swinging to and fro in his attitude towards Gulaal. Though we as a audience knw the reason for Kesar's behaviour but how can Gulaal understand all those underlying emotions. Just a day before he was in full rage and the next day after wedding fiasco he confesses his love...how strange and shocking would have that been for Gulaal😳...she was under the impression that kesar hates her and she gets to hear "he loves her"...
no wonder she is not able to come to conclusion about his approach towards her.
remember the first day he saw big kesar..the glow in eyes itself said a lot but look at her now..sad..she really needs to rediscover her self ...
