With anandi even that is possible, remember when khajan wanted to take her back after dadisa had remarried jagya but even then she insisted 'iam going back to haveli".....
I guess ,in a way, having stayed in that haveli all her life breaking out of that 'beendni' mould is tough even for heršŸ¤”,her whole world revolved around that family-to have an existence beyond them is something she would have to slowly relearn, get away from that comfort zone and then think about herself...šŸ¤”

But i really hope she leaves this time, its really exasperating 😵watching her waste her life in haveli, she does sit with books these daysšŸ¤” but still uncertain about what she should study...hope she finds her way this time...

Separation from a partner, Divorce, retirement, death of a spouse can be very difficult and distressing times in the life of any individual and it can be life changing too, ppl take time to get adjusted to a new normal life n I am glad tht the CVs r not showing Anandi ridiculously reading huge textbooks n becoming whtever in life.

Studying and education is no cake walk n though this is fiction it all seems very appr to me.

BTW I am very glad Anandi is progressive n thinking of studyingšŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ¼ unlike a foolish Gauri thinking retrogressively forgetting studies and planning to be patient to impress one and allšŸ‘ŽšŸ¼.

Sorry Aditi, I could not reply to your post. I went off to sleep as it was about 1.30 am. But jyo has said exactly what I would have written so I am not repeating the same thing. Its completely illogical for A to still be around and we have wanted her to leave a very long time ago. At least how I feel, unless she gets out of that haveli, she will not be able to concentrate on her studies. Living in the atmosphere she is in, is only going to limit her growth as an individual. J and G marriage is not an easy thing for her to digest although she may put up a brave face. Under such circumstances, she having to live this reality every day, will not make it easy for her to overlook and concentrate on studying. Till now I am mild in my approach to A because she has not known anything else (will not say better because that's subjective) than the life of the haveli and Jaitser. I may find the approach towards women in the haveli incorrect since I am basing my thoughts on my upbringing in the city. But A being a village girl has been conditioned since childhood to be obedient, calm and keep her family before her self. Her actions are only an outcome of this conditioning. I do agree that the CVs blow it out of proportion at times. Hence I have always wanted A to move out from the haveli and probably physically go to a college may be in a city where she will get exposed to a new lifestyle, new people, new thoughts and she can then choose what's best suited for her.

J got more exposure only after he went to the city. What that exposure made him is another question all together. But if he has changed for the worse, its not the fault of the city but his own. J has been criticized on the forum multiple times when he went through this transition.

I will not say that I dislike G in anyway. I am purely disappointed in her. This disappointment of mine springs from her change in attitude. Although she also lived in the same city and same atmosphere as J, she never shied away from her background and had such compassion towards other people. Her thoughts were very progressive and mature. She was some one I could relate to. But the CV's have taken a complete turn and are portraying her character in such immature, selfish and insensitive manner. This does not make any sense to me since if I put myself in her place I would have dumped a person like J at the very instance I learned his truth. In my opinion, G is more criticized on the forum because of the change in her character. Moreover she is herself asking for trouble in every episode which ends in a confrontation scene while J has only been a silent spectator. Well this is how I look at it, I may be wrong since my thoughts are based on what they show in the serial and my city upbringing and I do not know how the life or thought process of a simple village girl is.

Not at all wrong dear ...in fact you have nailed itšŸ‘šŸ¼ as far as I am concerned...

I would give some rope to the CV's even if they had shown Gauri insisting on going to Jagya's home for approval and seeing the reaction leaving immediately...but to show an educated, empathetic character that we had seen before, to keep on staying in the haveli and invite more insults, to turn into a shrew is difficult to digest and that too, it has been taken to the extreme.

Similarly...Anandi, if you recall, no longer has the characteristics that she did in her childhood and though people may say... you change when you grow up...a child's character is more or less set by the time you are 10 years old...you can only improve on it or get worse...and for me this new portrayal of Anandi post leap has been a bit of a let-down. However, we watch what comes our way...so I agree , she needs to get out and start her life...not sit stoically like the ever-suffering wife, giving advice to those who have made her such...How many girls in her situation get the kind of in-laws that she has...???? A precious few...and she is letting it all go to waste with her endless philosophying (I don't think there is such a wordšŸ˜‰).

Some of the changes are so obvious that you know what the future storyline will be...
Gauri being made into a extreme irrational person who just does not get that no matter what she does she will never be accepted but she still keeps hopingšŸ˜
Jagya is slowly showing signs of understanding everyone's reactions...and also seeing the other side of GaurišŸ¤”
Anandi ...NO CHANGE unless she decides to convince the household that Jagya and Gauri should stay married...
Dadisa's plan working
The rest - NO CHANGE...still glowering at Gauri 😔and smiling sweetly at Anandi.😊
