Upgrading lifestyles, which includes moving to swisher, glamorous areas, is the first step most of us take when our career and money graph zoom upwards. Malad residents are no different. As more luxurious residential complexes come up in the suburb, people within Malad are making the shift to homes that are more luxurious and better-equipped with various facilities.
Four Malad residents tell us what made them shift to other residential areas within the suburb.
The Patil family
Aashish Patil, director of Kkumkum😕(its Kumkum nd not ekta's serial) and Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, shifted with his family from Ganesh Nagar to Palm Court on Gudi Padwa
Aashish says, "For the last four years I lived in an apartment in the MHADA complex in Ganesh Nagar. I feel MHADA buildings are not constructed well. So we decided to move into a more comfortable home. We loved Palm Court the minute we saw it. The families living in this area are well-educated and well-read. The complex has good facilities like a well-equipped gym and spacious gardens and the market is also close by. It made sense to move to a better area. We have now moved into a 2 BHK."
