Mistreatment of parents is wrong

I just watched PR mega episode and was very disappointed to see the way Sulochana is being treated by her son Vinod. I than logged on to this forum and read a long post stating that Sulochana deserves to be mistreated by her son due to her character flaws. Many reasons were given as to why she should be mistreated. I have been watching PV since it started and understand the strong feelings everyone has about the characters but just want to say that it is never alright to mistreat our parents. The beauty of our culture is the respect we have for our elders and I cannot condone their abuse. I know we are talking about fictional characters.. but lets not forget who we are and our belief system. I just felt the need to say this.. thanks for reading my post.

i too was appalled at how happy people were seeing a mother at an old age being shoved out of the house.

yes salochna is not perfect but she does apologize when she realizes she is wrong , and above all, it should not be up to the kids to punish thier mother like this. this is disgusting

wen satish always forced bhavana to accept varsha ... wasnt that another way of mistreating ur mother

wen bhavana left home bcoz of varsha ... when satish had to compromise a childless life ... that time sulochana never showed her daughter right path ... she never gave her any lessons

ulta what sulochana did was taunting savita when she was critically mentally unstable ... sulochana had no shame that bcoz of her & her bahu , D house has suffered so much ... she had no shame that bcoz of them sachin had died ... & she very arrogantly said to savita that now even ur pota will leave u 1 day

when she is a total failure & disaster as a mother ... wat right she has to question other woman's motherhood

Please tell me how sulo was responsible for sachin's death.He was hit by a car when his engagement broke..And how is sulo responsible for varsha's abortion?

Savita also threw her pregrant bahu out,tried to burn her,made up fake divorce papers and was presurisn her son to marry another woman.In future does she deserve to be thrown out in future by her son?

It is disturbing that a parent is being shown to be thrown out in this manner. But the sad reality is that such things do happen, especially for property. What was depicted is only an over dramatic version.

No amount of reasoning can justify such actions. Not one of us is perfect and all of us make a lot of good and bad as we live our life. Just as it is the duty of parents to take care of their children , it is the duty of children to take care of their parents in their old age.

Just as parents give unconditional love to children , it is for every child to make the old age of parents as comfortable as possible. Practical considerations may sometimes prevent them from living together but respecting their needs and making an effort towards meeting them even in a small way helps a lot.

Every relationship has its ups and downs but there are some things which are non-negotiable in any relationship, especially a parent-child one. Each person is going to face old age at some point and it helps to remember that.

Parents struggle so much to bring their kids up and give them a nice life..

What ever they do they always think in the benifit of children..

Children cheating parents has happened in real life too, have read few such cases in papers.

But its really sad to read such things.. I dont approve such a disgusting act by kids..

Under no circumstances, kids should cheat their parents and treat them like servants..

Children should always remember one thing, even they will become old someday and what ever they are going to give to their parents they will get it back too..

U r not the only one who found a bahu cheating on her saas disturbing with the son as conspirator n partner in that crime. Vinod has no damn right to taunt his mom for his failures in life. He is a LOSER, period. Manjusha has always been greedy, eying others' wealth n money. She wont change, no expectations from her but Vinod did the unexpected
Once a child is born, a mother/father does his/her best to give the child all he needs - love, security, comfort...n Sulochana did just that as a mother. Even if she didn't, her child had no right to treat her the way he did. There is no excuse for that.
