Written Update July 12, 2011

The four are in a jeep with Kesar driving and the girls talk about their childhood. Dhani praises Gulaal's singing as a kid, Kesar asks why doesn't she sing now, they all ask her to sing but she refuses, Dhani tells Kesar his wife is not listening and Gulaal gives her a look, finally they give her their promise and ask her to sing the carnival song. Gulaal flashbacks to the carnival where she met Vasant for the very first time and is numb with the pain of her loss, Kesar asks her to sing and she sings the song "dholida dhol wagad", the same that she sang when Vasant played the drum. She sings sweetly with tears in her eyes and voice. Its as if she is bidding him goodbye and is finally coming to terms with his death. I think its a big moment for her to sing that song because she sang it with a straight face and didn't have a break down thinking about Vasant. Kesar is so smitten with her and cannot take his eyes off her.

He takes the girls to the park and they run around and play while Kesar looks on, as if he has eyes for Gulaal alone. They then drive back after sometime and all the girls talk and laugh a lot. Gulaal yells for him to stop because she wants to eat corn on the cob, he goes to get it for her. While he is gone, the girls tell Gulaal that they were very sad hearing about Vasant's death and were worried how she would live alone, but now that they have met Kesar and have seen his love for her they are very happy that she has found a husband like Kesar. Gulaal tries to tell them about the deeyarvattu and everything but Kesar comes and she stops, he happily hands out the corn.

Grumpy Yogesh chides Reva when she returned home and says his son will study in an expensive school and get all the happiness and luxuries that his parents didn't give him. Yawn... what's new.

Gulaal is on the swing and her friends are pushing it, they are tired but Gulaal keeps telling them to push more, they tell her to ask her husband and call Kesar, Gulaal refuses, her friends insist and tell Kesar that he can do this much at least for his wife, Gulaal gets upset and leaves when Kesar stops her. Kesar tells her that they don't know the truth about their relationship, let them be, Gulaal says upset that since morning they are going on "husband husband husband". Kesar says so what, anyway after 3 months everything will get over so let them think whatever. Gulaal is shocked like she has not really thought about what will happen in 3 months. He tells her that these are your true friends, she should not hurt them with the truth, Gulaal comes around. Kesar has been so adorable these last two days, with his eyes and expressions he makes Gulaal come around, and she does, she needs him to stabilize herself, something I didn't notice before.

Sudha is looking at photos for Talli's husband, Kesar comes there and she turns away. Kesar tells her that he remembers when she first came to the house and gave Kesar a gift, she cared so much about him, what has happened now, where is that affection, has he lost her affection forever. She says she doesn't remember anything except his causing Talli pain. He tells her that he had no idea about her and Talli's feelings, is she upset that he didn't give birth to a dishonest relationship, had he married Talli she would be bound to a relationship where she experiences only suffocation and pain, he freed Talli from that pain. He innocently asks Sudha if he did anything wrong, and turns to leave. She stops him and asks him to stay at home the next day since the guy's family is coming to see Talli. Kesar is so sweet, slowly and steadily he is becoming Vasant for the family in his own sweet way. He is bandaging wounds and helping everyone move on one by one. First Mota Bha, then Gulaal, now others. Kesar feels happy and Sudha smiles at him through her tears.

Gulaal is in her room and flashbacks to the fun time she had with her friends all day, as if she is content after a long time. She is caressing her hair and smiling, and Kesar's eyes are glued to her. Her friends come and tease Kesar asking him to stop staring at Gulaal, he and Gulaal are embarrassed, Dhani says she has not seen her husband stare at her in years, but Kesar has completely drowned in love for his wife, Kesar makes excuses but Bulbul says he needs to leave the room for the three friends today so they can talk all night, he shouldn't say he needs Gulaal's permission for that, the whole day they did what Kesar told them... Kesar indicates for them to not let the slip that he asked them what to do, Bulbul realizes and covers her slip. Kesar tells Gulaal that they need to wake up early since the guy's family is coming to see Talli. Bulbul says fine, but Kesar will have to drop them off after that since their husbands are not like Kesar. Gulaal frowns at her friend, she looks at Kesar and he has an embarrassed expression.

Precap: Sudha, Kesar, and Mota Bha meet the guy's family. The father tells Mota Bha that they liked Talli but he has a question, they heard that Talli was about to get married earlier. The mother then points to Kesar asking if this is his younger son Kesar who was going to marry Talli earlier. Sudha looks at Kesar angrily and he is embarrassed.
