Rohan was nervously eyeing vicky who was sitting right infront of him while geet stood there with her hands on her hips and tapping her right foot in a curious way...!!
So, are you ready...??...she finally asked after getting bored waiting for rohan's reply who was merely gawking at them as if his mind hasn't registered a thing she said
Rohan still didn't said anything and kept looking at vicky who was slightly getting the idea of what exactly was going on in his mind. Vicky looked at geet and then at rohan and came forward...
Ah, geet...he interrupted...would you mind if I talk...??...he asked hesistantly
Geet got fed up with rohan and replied raising her hands in the air...
My pleasure...she passed him a fake smile and get back to the bench stomping her foot
Hey rohan...he thought of starting a conversation...whats up buddy...??...he smiled at rohan who simply knitted his brows in confusion as well as tension
Vicky sat beside him and put his arm around his shoulders to which he fearfully looked at his hands and bend backwards, away from him...
Wh...what are you doing...??...he asked paniking while vicky rolled his eyes and took a deep breath calming his awakened anger with his continuous fattoo act...!!
He again put up a smile and said clutching his shoulders...
Rohan, you are my best buddy, aren't you...??...he asked with a stern expression to which rohan gulped and nodded in denial while saying yes
Oh I knew it...vicky smiled widely and continued...thank you rohan...vicky hugged him tight confusing him like anything...you will be geet's dance partner...!!
As the last set of words escaped vicky's mouth rohan eyes popped out while he looked at him in cmplete horror...!!
What...??...rohan stood up in a jerk...what are you talking about...??
Geet had had enough. She stormed towards rohan and pointed her index finger directly at him...
Look rohan, just listen to me carefully. I am participating in the group dance for the lead pair and YOU...are going to be my partner...!!
Rohan gave her an incredulous look and suddenly began to run away from there, but before he could reach the exit vicky and geet caught him...
Leave me, you both are lunatics...rohan shouted trying to free himself from their grip while geet and vicky held him tightly

Whatever, but make it fast...she replied before leaving the two alone in the room
After geet left vicky swiftly made rohan face him and said grabbing his shoulders...
Now just shut up and lsten to me...rohan tried to speak, but vicky's deadly glare prohibited him...!!
Good...vicky said as both sat down on the bench...rohan, whatever happened before was a misunderstanding, and I am sorry for that...!!
Rohan still gave him uncertain looks which made vicky sigh...
Ok, lets make a deal. You help geet and I'll help you in getting closer to pari...vicky offered
What...??...rohan's eyes sparkled at pari's name

Ssshhh...dev pressed his finger on her lips to quieten her while she felt a bit uneasy with the sudden touch...meera, usually you don't utter anything, but sometimes you truly become geet's twin sister...he chuckled while meera felt embarrased on ranting so much before him

Ahan...!!...don't thank me yet...he interrupted...I can be a real pain when it comes to teaching...!!
Meera giggled at his remark and dev continued...
My place, 5 pm sharp...he said while meera nodded and went to carry on with her work
All the while sasha was watching them from behind seething at meera's closeness with dev...I have to keep this behenji away from dev at any cost...she thought and stormed off from there...!!

Next day, maan reached his classroom to find a super excited alisha marching towards him...
Hey maan, we have to give our names today...she said with a cheesy smile while maan rolled his eyes and kicked himself mentally for getting into all this
Uh, yeah...we will go after second period...maan replied with a avoiding tone

Maan jerked his hand out of her hold and said maintaining some distace...sure, see you then...!!
With that said he moved to his seat where adi and sam were busy discussing their assignment...
Adi looked at maan who was really irritated by alisha and asked...
What happened...??...you look a bit disturb...!!
Maan pressed his temple with his fingers replying...
Dude, this alisha is getting on my neck...his face expressed a very displeasant look at her name
Well, you should have thought about it before consenting to her for the competition...adi replied
Sam who was sitting beside adi listening to them and suddenly jumped into the conversation...
Yeah, and if you had been a bit sensible, you could have had my sister as a partner instead of that intolerable creature...she twisted her lips showing her utter disapproval on maan's decision
Maan rolled his eyes at sam's never ending sidings with her geet and replied back...
On second thoughts, I am glad I didn't chose her...he made a face...who knows when she would step on her partner's feet impeding the poor guy from participating in any more events in future...he smirked
Sam smirked back at maan spatting back...
Oh really, then I guess that will be decided very soon as geet is also participating in the competition and you...she pointed her finger at him...and that alisha would have to compete with her to get through the final selection...!!
Maan was utterly surprised at sam's relevation as he never expected geet to pair with anyone else. A tinge of jealousy pinched his heart while rage seeped through his blood at the mere thought of someone else touching geet. Composing his demeanor maan asked again hiding his real emotions behind his straight face...
Uh, who is the guy she is pairing with...??...sam was amused at his question as she knew she hit the right cord
Why do you want to know...??...she raised her brows teasingly while maan groaned inwardly at her teasings

Maan replied and turned back to his book at the desk while adi was enjoying his plight alongwith sam

Look rohan, I know you are a good dancer and that is the most important reason that I chose you , but what we need right now is good co-ordination and sizzling chemistry ...geet explained rohan who was doing his own steps without even touching geet's hand
She brought his hands close to her resting them on her waist and kept her hands on his shoulders. Rohan gulped at her act and looked around not wanting to be caught by pari even though she hardly give him any looks. Just then maan entered the practice hall where students were giving last touch to their practice, and thats when he saw geet standing very close to rohan with her arms around his neck...!!
His palm curled into a fist when his gaze fell on rohan's hands that were daringly resting on geet's waist. He felt liking ripping rohan apart from the middle as the heated blood ran through his veins...!!
What the hell is geet doing...??...and how dare rohan...??...he thought fixing his fierce gaze on the two.
Geet began dancing with rohan on the music in a beautiful way enjoying the music totally oblivious of the deadly effect it was having on maan. The beast within him was burning in unmeasurable fire and was ready to set ablaze anyone on his way...!!
Maan...alisha called him from behind...you should have informed me that you are coming here, we could have come together...she whinned, but nothing reached maan's ears as his whole attention was fixed on geet
Alisha looked in the direction in which maan's gaze was fixed and burned with jealousy seeing geet grabbing his attention. She thought of something evil and smirked...
Oh my god, just look at geet and rohan. So cheap, they can atleast show some decency in their dance, but I guess they are doing anything but dance...she made a disgusting face and looked at maan to see his reaction.
Vicky was looking around for maan in order to execute his plan and then he saw maan standing at the corner continuous staring at geet and rohan. If eyes could kill, rohan would have been dead by now. Vicky smirked seeing his plan already in action and thought of adding some pepper as catalyst and with that purpose he moved towards maan...
Hey bhai, you here...??...his voice distracted maan and he instantly averted his gaze making vicky chuckl
Oh yes, I heard you are also participating...vicky said reading maan's face very carefully...but I guess you have a strong competition, geet and rohan are just mind blowing. They are the best couple...!!
Maan shot a glare at vicky which made him gulp and restate his statement...

Soon roshini mam arrived and ascended the stage...
Attention everyone...she beckoned the students and everyone stopped their practice and turned their attention towards the stage except maan whose eyes were not ready to leave geet for even a second. Geet too turned her gaze to the stage and caught the sight of maan standing on the other side staring at her with an intense fire in her eyes...!!
She felt a dangerous rage in maan's eyes which was setting her whole body on fire. She saw a different emotion in his eyes from what she always witness.
Is it really what I am thinking...??...she thought with a glint of hope in her eyes...is he jealous...??...she instantly looked at rohan who was standing very close to her and then at maan and she knew...
Oh my god, maan is jealous...her heart jumped in joy with realization...she smiled mischieviously and grabbed rohan's hand to confirm her doubts and there, the anger in maan's eyes increased ten folds.
Before she could go ahead with more of her experiments roshini mam's voice broke her thoughts...
Students please pay attention here...roshini mam said holding the mike...now we are satrting the audition, so all the participants come on the stage...!!
The students slowly ascended the stage. There were five pairs of boys and girls. Geet looked at maan and pulled rohan with her on the stage while maan seethed endlessly within...!!
Alisha was trying hard to grab maan's attention, but was poorly disappointed. She finally tapped maan's shoulder as they had to move on the stage and maan was not moving at all...
Maan, its time...we have to go on the stage...she said bringing him back
Maan gave her an angry glare shutting her up and moved to the stage while alisha sighed and followed...!!
Once everyone was on the stage the lights were dimmed and music was put on. Geet watched maan with alisha and twisted her lips bringing rohan close to her. Maan's rage escalated with geet's act of intimacy with rohan and in that wildness he grabbed alisha much more closer making geet equally jealous...!!

Vicky was watching every moment of his brother to see whether his plan of invoking some feelings in maan's heart for geet was working or not, but what he saw amazed as well as shocked him to the core. He knew his brother cared for geet though they were always at logger heads, but maan's very much evident jealousy was indicating to a totally different emotion flashing in his eyes. Vicky was perplexed to see the conflicting emotions in maan's eyes which was very unexpected. Here he was trying to intiate a feeling which was already there somewhere in him...!!
Maan was controlling himself with every ounce of self control and diverting his anger n his dance which was becoming a pain for alisha and pleasure for geet.

Now everyone formed a circle moving at their respective position with their respective partners and danced with perfect lines avoiding any flaws. Maan was right infront of geet and was continuosly lingering his gaze on her while she saw yet pretended to be oblivious of his stare...!!

As geet moved her hand softly and sensually over rohan's shoulders maan averted his gaze and curled his pals into a fist almost piercing his nails in alisha's skin who winced in pain, but maan didn't even noticed...!!
He himself was burning in his own rage. But this was his own decision, though now when finally she was ignoring him it was piercing his heart. He knew this pain had to come to him sooner or later, but didn't knew it would be so unbearable

Geet saw maan's tensed and painfull expression and felt like her soul was ripping apart. She just wanted to tease him a bit to gain his attention, but this game was getting difficult. She was not able to see maan suffering like this, whatever the reason may be...!!

The groups started twirling their partners away from them, passing to another. As geet's hands touched maan's, he pulled her to himself by force trapping her in his stout chest like stage like she was his life which was going away from him...!!

Geet too sneaked her arms around his waist tightly fearing to loose him the moment she set him free. Maan felt so pleased to finally have her in his arms so close to him which instilled a new spark and energy in him and he started dancing with a new freshness. Geet also matched beats with him.

They danced with extreme power and expression which were actually true, oblivious of theie surrounding, oblivious f the audience, oblivious of the fact that they were dancing with wrong partners as everything fel so correct and in place when they are together like they are meant to be...!!

As the music stopped the dazzled audience cheered the performers specially maan and geet irrespective of their blunder to dance with wrong partners. Miss roshini came on the stage with an extremely pleased expression...
Wow, you all were really good and specially you two...she turned towards maan and geet who were still standing looking into each other's eyes oblivious of the fact that the song has ended.
You both make an awesome pair and thats why I have finalized you two as the main leads...she announced making everyone shock as well as bringing the love birds out of their dream land who instantly separated and stood at a distance from each other. Hearing miss roshini both were dazed, but in different ways. While maan was shocked geet was very happy.
Maan cursed himself for loosing focus and tried to interrupt...
But mam, we are not here as a pair...!!

Geet was on cloud nine hearing her judgement, but she kept her excitement under check and simply smirked at vicky who gave a thumbs up inreturn. Alisha was very unhappy with the result and left from there giving a murderous glare to geet.
Maan ran a frustrated hand through his hair and thought...
Damn, I should have controlled myself. In order to push her away I agreed to alisha and now the situation has become even worse than before...he looked at geet who was being congratulated by her friends...this is going to be really difficult now. How am I going to control myself when she'll be so close to me...!!
