Kajol,Rani..Vidya ..they are not particularly slim...but are very feminine..They have fabulous smiles and good bone structure..

Sonakshi physically is a bit overpowering...

How insulting, poor Sonakshi. I am sick of actresses being requested to lose weight for a role especially when they are perfectly fine the way they are now.

The only actor who should be ordered to go to the gym is Abhishek..

All other actors even in their 40s work so hard to keep in shape...no flab at all..so why not the female stars😕

Sonakshi needs to put in more effort...She may get supporters to defend her but lose out on roles opposite most actors..John,Akshay, Salman,Ajay would look good I think

Did she get the role or is it figment of her PR imagination??? cause most south actressess are not slim per se..From meena, to current Nayana Tara..as far as i kno the above mentioned are huge stars despite their well rounded figure..

If you are not even in the contention for the role wonder how you will be rejected?

^ it's different in the South. Sonaski is a bolllywood actress and most bollywood actress are fit or thin.

and it's SAD that now, 'fit' means stick thin.

haha for ONCE I wanna see a real girl-next-door play the girl-next-door.

But this is expected, people who follow Bollywood just don't seem to like to watch realistic things. That's why Konkona will never be accepted in mainstream, Vidya Balan will always seem fat, and every neighbor chick will be expected to look like a model.

poor sonakshi i understand her plight, i lost 10 kg after 8 months of hard work in gym, and then i stopped gym for 1 month and gained 8 kgs back.

having said that, this is so weird. why cannot a woamn look curvy? its more sexythat way, why they all have to be size 0/2 i wonder. abody suit looks so good in a curvy woman. and these old actors. but most of the indian movies these days, where the heroes r slightly older, they all r quite not "in" shape, but the heroien has to look like a slim trim gorgeoous picture. why this discrimination i wonder.

Yes the heroes and heroines are expected to be just that...if not physically demigod like they should be able to portray that power..like Rajnikanth does..the heroine just has to have the aura of being the unattainable goddess on screen...

We are here year after year because we think they are superior in some way worthy of our devotion and time we waste on them...

And they deserve the millions & fame & power we cant hope or imagine..
