I felt really bad for Khushi when ASR made her work overtime knowing that she has to go home early. But ASR is not inhumane..he is just fighting within himself. May be he had some bad experiences in the past.

He has never seen anyone so innocent and beautiful ( from inside) as Khushi till now. Other than his family he is surrounded my people who are obsessed with his money and status . Lav, his GF cares about only materialistic things..we have not seen her being concerned about Arnav's thoughts and she would do anything to keep her position as ASR's GF.

So when he encounters Khushi, he wants to prove that Khushi is also money minded so that he could go on living his life the same way. He treats Khushi badly so that she would give up and leave him proving his point. Whatever he does to Khushi is him trying to convince himself that money is all that matters to outside world.

I appreciate all the replies and it hadn't been easy for me to put those words to ASR! But, character is an important thing, I'm sure everyone will agree. Whatever is the past treating the opposite person with dignity and respect doesn't need to be governed by ones past history. Character is something which keeps on growing the older one becomes and also something which can be changed any time once a person reaches certain adult age. None can blame ones past history for a bad character. As a CEO/whatever of his company he is responsible for the well being of his company employees. how could any girl fall for such a person. He left her alone in the car park in the pouring rain. But, the most painful thing is ASR himself let the car park attendants go and made a girl do such a thing, out of what? out of revenge? out of head strongness ? or any other attitude. No! it only looks as if he is a sadist. that is his character! and what confidence is there that he won't behave in future even after becoming normal! The bottom line is one should take responsibility of on's own actions no one can blame it on the past future or the circumstances! otherwise there is no difference between humans and the animals. Even animals act according to instinct and not based on good / bad. This is what differentiates a man from an animal.

Well, my complaint is neither about the actor nor about the ASR character , but to the script / story writer. Again, no consistency in moulding the character. Just go according to the wind create something. whatever it could be. Has anyone noticed how Khushi was shivering in the rain? Well every one only notice how sexy she is how ASR is falling for her! That is good this is why the audience is watching this serial so eagerly to celebrate when ASR would fall for her. I'm sure it could have made to happen without making ASR character as a sadistic monster!

There is a fine line between being revengeful, ambitious and being a terrorising tyrant. Sadly according to me ASR character is far too much towards being a tyrant!

There is this past experiences which have moulded the character of Hitler and many of the terrorists who are terrorising the whole world in the name of religion. How many of you would like to be sympathetic towards such people as well?

PS : this is only my opinion and I agree to disagree with all of you whoever have replied, while respecting your opinions too.

Well i agree that he is rude but wat i disagree is he is inhuman. If he would be inhuman he wouldn't have cared for his family. He is a man who loves his family a lot and can anything for them. He has a heart which is wounded right now. He made khushi stand in the rain and work which was bad but his expressions after seeing her shivering showed that he felt bad. If he was inhuman and could do anything for revenge he wouldn't have saved her yesterday. He would have let her die or get hurt.

And speaking about the past. Yes, past makes a huge impact on one's behavior. We dont know wat exactly his past is but we know that he has faced and suffered a lot coz of which Arnav is like this today.
I always feel that its wrong on our part to judge a person by only his/her behavior and specially when we r unaware of his/her past life.

We have seen his hatred but we have even seen his love, concern, care. In my point of view he isn't inhuman at all.

Don't rush. He may be portayed as inhumane , sadistic but we are only seeing him for past few weeks. His character is being moluded this way only show he is a man who can do anything to get his work done. It is him. ASR .Acept him as he is for now. This topic come this far means barun 's acting is too good. And for transformation , becoming human that is kushi's job. Wait and see

he is a complex character...if he is a vampire than his character is abit justified...but then he is a human...who have suffered a very bitter past...he lost his mother in such a young age...responsiblities...cruel world...makes him what he is now...like you say inhuman...
but the truth is arnav is not inhuman...heartless...or any other terms to justify him as a cruel characters...arnav is in pain...he is in very deep pain...he doesn't know how to come out from his pain that aches him since years and he can't shout the pain out...his family knows his attitute so does his lovely sister anjali...but they all makes him remain the same...they never tried to calm down his pain...find ways to ease his pain...they just leave him the way he is...i never say his family doesn't care...they do...but they don't know how to give his pain a medicine to heal...
with family around...he is still living with a pain in heart and soul...he doesn't know how to heal it...its aching him even more...but he has no choice but to live with it...since noone tries to heal his pain...he lives with it all his life...he loves that way
but now...the medicine is infront of him...in form of khushi...though she doesn't know it...but she is becoming the medicine of arnav's wounded heart...he always been living with it...so he doesn't like to be healed now...he is getting angry...frustrating that its being healing now slowly...but he doesn't like it...he wants to hate the medicine...he wants to despise the medicine...but its too bad the drug is doing his effect...
slowly khushi is healing his wounded pain...he knows it...but wants to pretend...once he really realise it that the pain he has been nursing has been healed...the human qualities will come from him...
he is in pain...he needs help...its wrong to call him inhuman...because he suffered so much and noone has healed him with love...affection...simplicity...innocence...may his sister healed it...but then it makes no difference whenever he sees his sister...the pain is alive in his eyes...because all the hardships they went through is remembered...
he needs help from someone who knows how to laugh in pain...who knows how to live life with fullest even with hardships...who knows how to heal a person who is in pain...who knows the real meaning of life...colours and smile...and its none other than Khushi...
arnav character is complex...if he is a vampire like abhay or siddharth...its easy to justify...his heartless nature...but then he is a human and living life like a vampire...who have no emotions...no feelings...no love...thats something not easy to justify...
he lives with his senses rather than his feelings...he needs to heal his pain than he can live life...
it take a while to know the real arnav
we love arrogant characters...angry characters especially in guys...but these characters are very complex and difficult to understand...they are not straight to understand...they have the qualities in them...but to get it out from them is very difficult...
arnav is one of them...

^^ Just for the sake of my knowledge... throwing a girl down the cabin window...tearing her blouse, humiliating her constantly, making her a coat hanger, insulting her, ridiculing her in front of dozens of people...and ohhh not to forget, deputing her to do the duty of a guard in a parking lot at night time, when there is heavy rain and thunder storm...are all these HUMANLY acts?? 😕
