Reopening a remarkable chapter lost in the by-lanes of Bharuch and passed on as a legend by mothers to their daughters in Gujarat, Zee TV brings you 'Shobha Somnath Ki', a historical drama that narrates the awe-inspiring story of India's unsung heroine Shobha who stood tall and strong in the face of a fiery invasion by Mughal emperor Mahmud of Ghazni.

Whoever wrote this should fix it to say 'Afghan', since Mahmud of Ghazni was not a Moghul. In fact, even the Pathans weren't fully Islamized when he invaded India.

yeah but even the afghan emperors were callled as mughul emperors so i think not to worry

ya it needs to b changed , Mahmud of Ghazni was an Afghan not a moghul.!!

No, Mughuls were Babur & his dynasty. It doesn't apply to anyone else, even though Babur was the ruler of Kabul before he invaded. Of India's Muslim invaders

Mohammed bin Qasim was Arab

Mahmud of Ghazni was Afghan

Mohammed Ghor was Turkic, as was Qutb ud din Aibak and the Mamluq, Khilji, Tughluq, Sayeed & Lodi dynasties

Nadir Shah was Farsi

Abdali was again Afghan
