I too agree with Shounak ,
I don't want HINDI FRIENDS !!!!!!! I know They will kill the Characters for me &
I don't find suitable for any of the 3 male character may b Gunther 🤣🤣
Nope Not even that ... 😆 Sorry Fans ...
I don't have faith in Telly industry to do justice to any of the English series !!!!
In Telly Industries only thing works is " Chutki Bhar Sindoor " 😕 😆
Here , I know these people works so so hard on the each episodes ...
Each actors r doing fab jobs , U get so hooked in to these series &
forget abt everything else .
If any of the actor is not upto the mark they fire the actor regardless of popularity .
I see professionalism here which lacks in Telly Industries !!!!
Sorry , Guys but I don't want any of the Telly guys killing my fav. Characters !!!
What serial makers need is good writers ... I hope this all changes in few years ...
Cauz Lot more goes in to world than just mang main Sindoor & paramparas
!!!!!

There has already been a hindi remake of Friends, back in 1999 on Zee TV, starring Simone Singh, Cyrus, Maria Goretti, etc. Only lasted 6 months I think.

I like the idea of Ragini playing a lawyer, like the ADAs on Law and Order. I think a reporter's role would be good too. Imagine a show about an investigative reporter's adventures. Ragini could be the dedicated and eccentric reporter surrounded by a bunch of quirky characters (in the form of photographers, interns, editors, etc).

Another idea: I dream of Jeannie with Ragini as Jeannie. 👍🏼

That reminds me: there used to be a show on Zee TV back in the early/mid 90s which had a genie/jinn. It was called Grihalakshmi ka Jinn. The show was about a housewife (played by Rita Bhaduri) who one day discovers that God has sent her a genie to help her out, grant her wishes, protect her etc. He was basically her guardian angel. The genie was played Raj Zutshi (he left the show later on and his character was written out with a new genie being assigned to the 'grihalakshmi'). I think it would be cool if this concept were revived with Ragini playing a woman who finds/gets assigned a funny genie. The housewife angle can be updated for today's time to a working woman or a college student or something. 😊

Netri, I fully fully agree with you, after seeing the HASHAR NASHAR of SGP , and Bhaskar Bharti as well, at the end SINDOOR , SAAS and BAHU is the ultimate, no hope from Indian Television industry to come up with a good srial any more, with just exception of Sarabhai VS Sarabhai, Tu Tu MAi Mai, Kadvi Khatti Mheeti, Office Office. They dont dont want to do something out of the box,

They don't even have to remake english series ... Di , They can try to remake some of the good old days of DD serials... They were far better than the junk they give us today 🤢... 😆 On those golden days U can actually relate to characters unlike today May b they didn't focus on TRP , Their focus was on Entertainment 🥱
