According to reliable information from Bihar, singer Udit Narayan is being persuaded by 'well-wishers' to go for an out-of-court settlement. "They want me to first make a settlement and then want to blackmail me," reveals Udit. "But I won't be cowed down." Udit claims his problems regarding his alleged first wife are being caused by people whom he has helped monetarily in the past. "I didn't want to talk about this because it doesn't look nice to speak about favours done. You do it and then you move on.

Unfortunately, I'm like a cow which suddenly decides it will give milk only to its own child. Naturally, those from the outside who were enjoying the milk would abuse the cow. A lot of these people who are misleading this lady into taking me on are my former beneficiaries gone bitter," he adds. Udit claims these elements are determined to first scare and then blackmail him. "But I've no intention of buckling under the pressure. My lawyers are fighting this humiliating charge.

I'm sure the truth will prevail." Regarding the photographic and documented evidence of their alleged first marriage being flaunted by the first wife Udit says, "It's all a part of a larger conspiracy to bring me down. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd be subjected to this slander. I've been summoned by a woman's organisation in Patna about the matter. I'll fight it out," he says.

To the best of my knowledge, when i was young i remember reading udits marriage published in a newspaper and just after a year or so i read one more news about his new marriage.
Rest is up to god...

Udit should have nipped this in the bud long time ago with a one time cash settlement - now the fire has spread and hard to contain............

if both marriages have been public, didn't he know well that having 2nd one without divorcing the first is illegal....or what was this so-called wife doing all these yrs...man looks like Udit ji's life has become like our now-a-days desi soaps ....can have x # of wives and husbands....or might be he should have been smart like our he-man Dharam ji. 😉

Udit bhaiyya...yeha ek se nibana mushkil ho ra ha, aap do se kese nebaya itni saal agar ye sab such bat sabit hota hai to....in general i have this question for people who have these extra (sort of) relations at the same time... 😉

Well don't ask me the source .but i can very surely tell u that he was married in Bihar before he came to Mumbai .

But some settlement was made when Udit ji mmarried in Mumbai .
The lady is either lying or there is some undisclosed problem
