Guess I was not very clear in my post. I'm not saying it was right to ask Kukan something like that, I was just wandering what Guddu did for Kukan that made him accepted it. That it is why I think that nothing can turn Kukan against Guddu.

Anyway I hope that Runhjun realize that in a couple of days Guddu just gave up everything he had in favor of her family. Kukan and Jabbu were his family and he broke the friendship with Jabbo because of what he did to Mahadevi (even if nothing of this had happened if Mitho and Rajju would have taken care of their daughter) and asked Kukan to accept a marriage with a girl from a family who will always look at him as not being good enough for them. Kukan will still be his friend, but is not going to be the same. Kukan is very serious about marriage. From now on Mahadevi and the child will come first.

Runhjun is the only thing that Guddu truly has right now. There is nothing left for Guddu to offer her: he offered her his life, his love, his friend, his store, even his parents love her. The only think he can't do is to erase the past. I don't know why her magical formula: "Forgive and forget!" never works when it comes to Guddu, it works only with her relatives.

@ bold - True. also for R's bhag to help G, he has to work hard. But it seemed to help M&M's without them working hard. or maybe it helped them because R worked hard doing all the work for M&M's. 😕

I have been pondering on the issue about Kukkan and MD.

I will never ask a person for a favor if I know that that person will not oblige me. Thus Guddu asked the one person whoem he knew that he will get a favorable answer. In my opinion he did right.

For Kukkan being a Gunda he is in no situation to get connected to the Pandey family. As they themselves say and other on the forum that he is not good enough for them. At the same time he is better then ABHI he marries a girl that he knows loves someone else and is preggs. Its not the easiest of marriages but he takes the challange. He is a strong character. H e is shown to be angry with the unjust that meated out to MD and he is ready to help her out of that situation. He dose not only preach he acts as well according to his moral code.

So far we have seen Kukkan as a sensible person but he still is a Gunda. So in a way he is going to be strong in his dealings with Mitho and Rajju. Guddu was barking but Kukkan will deliver. So it will be intresting watching. Kukkan knows how to deal with Mitho and he is going to come out victor later on but the journey will be fun for us to watch.

I hope CV's don't tone down Kukkan's character too much as well to turn him into a "good" man. Kukkan does seem to have a sensible head on his shoulder but to me he was not as dabang as Guddu.

Lnfofan, I don't think Kukan will turn completely good, he doesn't have to. He knows who he is and what he is capable of doing. He will always be ready to use some not so legal methods if the situation requires them. But, the best thing that he can do for us is to refuse on Monday episode to live with his wife in the Pandey House so that Runhjun can have no reason to refuse to go with her husband!

I don't think they'll change Kukkan's character. There is no need to. Kukkan thinks before he acts. The M&Ms and Devi can't instigate him like they did Guddu. Kukkan's one to talk first and then retaliate if needed. He knows Runjhun and Guddu's true natures and he also knows the true nature of the M&Ms. I think Kukkan will be the bridge from Gunjhun to Devi as in Devi finally comes around and starts to favor Runjhun. I think he'll help throw a wrench in the M&M plans because Devi will likely share what they want to do and Kukkan will explain things to her (I think this is important as the M&Ms always order her around w/o telling her the reasoning and Kukkan is all about reading the situation and responding).
