Angad, now refreshed, is telling Dadaji & Dadiji how he tussled with the ball in the rains & enjoyed the vadapaavs. Laxmi & Randar come & keep some food on the table. Mahen comes there & says that he is upset that Angad didn't meet or talk to him as yet. Angad says that he was waiting to meet him. Mahen says he wanted to gift him something. He comes rushing in & Angad & him circle the sofa/table, one running away to save his life, the other ready to smack his son! 😆 Vijay is annoyed that they were waiting for him in the rains whilst he was sitting at home, enjoying samosas! He is ready to throw the samosas at him! They circle Sofa/table a bit more, but all this tire Vijay out, & finally he opens his arms to his son. Next morning, Laxmi is regaling Suraj with Angad's antics. *ok,finally guys...I just have to say it! Suraj lies about the distance of sets from home & since he is so career focussed, he preferred moving in with his director friend. Angad throws a question that do the family members come to meet him in dhaba then? But lets the topic drop. He starts leaving enquiring whether Laxmi will accompany him, but then realises that they(Laraj) may need more time together. Dadi says your mom is no prime minister that I will take them off on her request!😆😆 Minu is not happy! 👏Shobna enquires about Angad's whereabouts, but Minu still laments about her stilettos. 😡Just then a non-stop Angad walks in with a subdued Laxmi & well, guess who is not happy!! Angad says you didn't say a word the entire way when you are meant to be talkative!*abey usse baat karne ka moka toh de!* He goes on to say that she should learn how to talk otherwise she will be in great trouble out there. Dadi, Minu, Shobna observe their exchange, while Kaveri walks in & enquires where are u sending my Laxmi? Angad says don't pretend u don't know. Kaveri says, yes I don't know. Angad shares Suraj's news & says obviously Laxmi will go with him too. Sneaky Tej has come & has heard the convo. Kaveri is happy, but Shobna is not. Laxmi is shocked at the assumption. Kaveri, in her room, is escatic about the news that Laxmi will be accompanying Suraj to South Africa. Laxmi is perplexed on how to explain that this dream will not be fulfilled. Kaveri interprets it as her dilemma in staying away from her. She continues saying that she will ask Suraj to bring her to India once a year, & sometimes they might go to meet them too. Laxmi has tears in her eyes when Kaveri embraces her.
Laxmi goes to Mahen's room, where he is studying South Africa's map.He gives her a gift. She asks why. He says that I have packed all your books & have also recorded my voice so that your studies don't get hampered there. She asks where? He says South Africa. Mahen says I wont be able to accompany you, but you will have to continue your studies. When you return after 8 yrs u will speak to me in English! He then says I will tell you all about South Africa so that you don't get into trouble there. He says he will miss her a lot & before he gets emotional, he starts telling her about the country. She is really upset that now how will she disclose the truth to the family members?😭
Angad is telling Laxmi now that Suraj's shopping is done, they should start shopping for her. She says no. He insists that she is going to a new place,starting a new life, so she needs to shop. She then drops the bombshell that she is not going with Suraj; they will live apart!!!
