I'm trying to get a ripped, lean body, says television actor Karan Wahi, who has lost 11 kgs in three months

My Exercise Regime
Though I have been gymming for the last 11 years, my routine has become more disciplined in the last two years. I work out six days a week and prefer lifting weights over cardio. My workout sessions last two-and-a-half hours.

My Problem Areas
Initially, I had an ecto-mesomorph body type and I could lose weight without working out. But now my body type is changing and I tend to gain weight on my stomach and face. I have managed to lose 11 kgs with regular workouts and change in food patterns. I'm trying to get a ripped, lean body.

My Strengths
I always have had a great physique and I'm proud of the fact that I'm good at lifting weights, though for some reason people have a misconception that I can't. Also, I have great stamina and strength, which works as a great morale booster.

My Diet
I have stopped consuming alcohol, which is the biggest positive change in my diet. My breakfast now includes boiled eggs instead of parathas. I try to consume protein-rich, home-made food. I'm not too keen on consuming protein shakes and only have them after my workout.

Fitness role model
Karan Singh Grover is my fitness role model as he's the one who inculcated the good eating habit in me.

Ideal Celeb Body (Male)
Salman Khan. I just love the way he has maintained his physique over many years.

Ideal Celeb Body (Female)
Kareena Kapoor. Post her size-zero figure, she gained weight and looks perfect now.
