The conflicting signals of sajjan Singh...His reiteration that he does not have any amorous intention and his subsequent acts does lend credence to his assertion ...He seems to treat Ganga gently and with dignity...His mode of interaction as been that of a rich Uncle giving chocolates to a poor niece..Yet !! Yet !! That voiceover was a bit like a sour grapes ...I am presuming that Anupam was not comfortable or declined to do that, hence a different voice and the camera studiously looking away from SS [when have we seen SS away from the camera when his dialogues are going on ] ...It would be wise on the CV's part that in their enthu to create suspense they not transgress a fine line and repulse the viewers to the point of gagging and changing channel...
What is the purpose of Ganga ..definitely it is not for satisfying the lust of a old man..had it been the case SS would never have stood by and allowed his mother to take her away from the room..[ we all know SS, and what he can do, when he is properly roused ]..
Has Ganga come for Krishna...Then Sajjan Singh would never have laid a claim on Ganga...in fact he would have made every effort to ensure the purity and innocence of Ganga ..But by Brazenly staking claim over a Girl, he has ensured that his Son's will not touch her ...
That leaves another probability..Has she come to teach a lesson to Amma... we all know that Sajjan Singh is a consummate actor [not Anupam ], a shrewd politician, a ruthless man to his enemies, A patrician who will never allow the partition of the house ... In addition to this, he is also the doting father to his children...he has never hesitated and has never stopped at anything to provide happiness for his children... he has been willing to kill Kesar for Shakthi's sake, He has paid lakhs together to get his SIL abroad and under his daughter's control..He has grudgingly accepted Pratigya just to make Krishna happy ...so why then is the Ganga required, if not to teach a lesson to Amma , then what else??
We all know that Ss cherishes the unity of his family and also that he can maintain a normal behavior even when he is plotting some dangerous thing like the time he was when he was planning Kesar's murder.. so what if Ss was always suspicious of Amma's intention's...In the early days he had clearly and point blankly enquired the reason for Amma's change ..he appeared to accept Amma's change at face value although few of his actions would betray the fact that he was not taken in by Amma's act..but he held his peace and in fact would go one up on Amma by constantly attributing malicious intention to Pratigya and by overtly supporting Amma { When has he so consistently supported Amma ]..what if he indulged in this charade either to gain the trust of Amma and get to know her plans or show her what actually will happen to her Son if Pratigya is removed from his life...SS has been clear cut from Day 1 that he will never tolerate any division or unrest in the house..Amma has dared to cross this line, She has also willfully destroyed her Son...Sajjan Singh is not the man to tolerate this nor is he a hot head ..he will plan and he will move his pieces cautiously and I feel that is what he has been doing ..He first Got Amma out of his chambers and packed her off to a corner..thereby reducing her powers..he then barred her from eating with the family segregating her and eroding her authority further..
Remember SS did not react in his predictable way when Amma phoned and said that Pratigya did not sign the papers..instead of saying that the sax's will be taught a lesson which is what he usually says , he said that Divorce is not easy...I am presuming that SS decided that the crisis was heating up and needed a nudge..and the Farmer's daughter came in handy to teach Amma a lesson ..This is borne out by the fact that he says that his project will be akin to Bhagirath ...in other words..he will be undoing the evil deeds of Amma and at the same time cleanse her of her jealousy, her ego ...
But As of now, SS will be busy in planting the thought that Ganga is his !...none should touch her ..it is his way of protecting her from wolves like Shakthi and Amma ...She is his Pawn.. what will be her fate after the cleansing ritual will be seen later
