Demeter...her calm, motherly personality always reminded me of Bhumi Devi and Lakshmi Ma.😊

^^Zeus is the King of Gods (~Devraaj), The God of Sky, Wields Thunderbolt (~Vajra), has God brothers (~Adityas)...So IMO he resembles Indra...What say?

I think Zeus can either symbolize Indra Dev or Brihaspati, depending on which way you take it, since he was both the God of Jupiter (Brihaspati) and the King of Gods (Indra).

But he was God of Jupiter in his Roman aspect as Jupiter. In his Greek aspect he is the Lord of the Sky (and thunder, rain etc)

Actually, in Roman Myths, the planet Jupiter was named after the God Jupier, but the God Jupiter himself was not a personification of the planet in the first place. In Indian Myths, however, Brihaspati directly personifies the planet Jupiter. Moreover Brihaspati, unlike Zeus or Jupiter, is not a God; he's a sage.

Yeah, I guess I conflated Zeus & Jupiter, when they are in fact different
