ok ...my view to all this is teh same as u guys. i think jai and roshni were married and i guess tht like pia even roshni wud be really ambitious and business minded, and therefore never took care of jai or the family thts why massi taunted tht " suna hai tumahaar videsh mein bahut bada business hai"

and jigyasa took this chance and convinced every member of the family against her and probably coz of her so called wicked brain she anyhow got jai and roshni divorced and coz of jigyasa there had been misunderstandings between them.

as previously said by sum one tht if roshni wanted to settle scores with jai why she had to wait for jigyasa's invitation for tht. she cud have done much before.

i think when jigyasa tole bout bani and her wish to throw her out roshni must have thought tht she wont let the same thing happen to bani wat had happened to her.
and to stop the wicked plans of jigyasa she came here.
and bout roshni clinging to jai every now n then ....is juss to know tht wat he feels bout bani or does he still feel for her or has bani taken place in his heart. she wants to know exactly wats going on in jai's mind and heart.

Yup, why on Earth would Roshni wait for so many years to come back and settle scores with Jai....also, she seems to be besotted by him! It is Jigyasa whom she wants to get even with and not Jai!

And her sympathy towards Bani proves that she wants Jai and Bani to work out their marriage and not end up breaking up like it happened to Jai and her!

Btw, I don't think that Jai was ever in love with Roshni...his marriage might have been an arranged affair...hence, the double bitterness!

i agree, remember immediately after marriage Jai once told Bani, tht "Jo Shaadi Maine 40 saal tak Nahin Ki us Shadi ka tamasha bana diya tum logo ne" i dont remember the exact dialogues , but he said some of this sort to Bani supposedly when she gives him the divorce papers and he tears it, but something of this sort happened if my memory is correct

However may b the thing is tht Jai was madly in luv with Roshni according to the article and i think tht they were soon to b married but may during thse days Jai might b just an ordinary Man and not a millionare n Roshni ditched him cozz she wanted to achieve something big in his life, May b thts the Reason Jai became so tough from out side and decided he would never marry and also he started to work like a machine ,but then Bani-Pia-Rano Trio entered the pic and he was infactuated [his so called Love ]to Pia and destiny lead him to marry his True Love and soul mate and janam janam ka pyaar Bani

I dun think it wud have been an arranged affair as jai and roshni both dont seem like tht.
i think jai loved roshni and they broke off due to jigyasa and when pia came to his life jai fell for her as pia muss be havingt he same qualities tht roshni had sum time ago. may be he found his lost love in pia.
and as he used to spend a lot on pia he mit have spent a lot on roshni tooo thts why jigyasa didnt liek her.

i don't know what to think but its intresting to know what you think!!!
