I agree, but i am not convinced that G will think of wat K said , not so soon , right now , she is filled with some kind of impression on him and is living by loving vasanth , well untill and unless she stops talking to vansaths pic , she wont let anything get into her mind , well not sure , but i dont see how she will change her opinion on him so soon , not unless he stands for her in front of Sudha , well lets see

I agree, that chi and how can u think of me like that is eye opener , but will she think of wat he said is big question right now .

I wanted him to answer her asking havent u spoiled my life and all , high time he ask her , wat he did during his wedding with talli is not enough , Gulaal need a strong dosage of reality , one cannot dismiss she is to be blamed for hiding things from him and others , not only about D but many things , thats what i like in this show , here female lead is mahan yet they dont forget to show she is at false too , but in clever way , unlike in other soaps ,

Well it depicts the qualities of a wife that means she should work like a daasi...her actions should be like a mantri..or a politician she should cook like a maother and she should hv seductive powers like apsara Rambha

Apart from that - for the rest of your post, in reference to the comparison between what she said to Kesar today, and to Dushyant a decade ago - there is one massive difference. I said it in my post, and I'll say it again here - the difference is Gulaal's guts to stand inside his bedroom and throw it n his face about being a wife and fulfilling his demands. I cannot imagine Gulaal with Dushyant of a decade ago, getting away with something half as reckless. Also, while Dushyant kidnapped her, and she stood up for herself (including turning him down for Deyarvatu which at that point seemed like her only only option) today she walked int her house (because it was her only option she said, but don't we know Gulaal?! She never fails to make daring exceptions when she deems it right including her deeyarvattu with Kesar, or her secret keeping of Dushyant's hand in the murder all these years) and she walked into his room, and stood up for herself by telling him she was submitting to his zidd! Interestingly, as you say, she is saying a lot of the stuff in her majorly hurt self respect, and sense of violation at the hand of a boy she has held so dear all these years. The emotional turmoil makes her say alot of these things, but hidden between these same sentences of distrust and lust allegations is Gulaal's deep deep deep down faith, that this is the same Kesar, and in a way, her tirade is extreme but only the kind that a very tormented elder would brandish at a wrong doing child. She's accusing him, but the same time in the process is subconsciously giving him a reality check of exactly why his love has been a paap for her all along.

I hope I'm addressing the questions you raised, in correct comprehension of them (: That said - well written, and do drop by more often with your input analysis!

But I have a slightly different opinion for today's Gualaal's reaction. I think it is more of black mailing reaction. It is not exactly the way she felt, but it is more to inflict the pain she felt into Kesar. Thats why I think she did a part of it in the presence of every one and a greater part of it when they were alone (the later part also has influences because of her own natural reaction as she reacted to Dushyant). I see a parallel to my own reactions to my mother here. As a child, when I was upset with some things, I used to threaten to skip meals and blackmail my mother. I see similar reaction in Gulaal.

I think it was both, and also to show some reality to Kesar - here look i am back, this is what you wanted and so on... this is what you have been going on about for the last few days with the paagalpan-ness and anything to get me back home, look you said i am your patni, you love and want me... and so on Kes-Gul have their own equation, their own thing going so as you said, the last scene was more of a thing between them then with sharing with the rest of the ppl in the house

Not only that it has to be an eye-opener scene for Kesar as well, coz this serial put in scenes that will play a major thing in the future i think, and today was a new phase and was the last scene, it said alot... after seeing Kesar's behaviour next track has to be him emerging as a mature guy and making sense of his love and Gulaal also slowly getting back settled into the house and what she makes of this relation, as she stood in his room today

Another thing is interesting i am remember when D kidnapped her, she labelled his love as hawas/lust, and she hasnt said that about Kesar's love as such, but only paap but paap can man in so many ways coz of who he is, and who Vasant was and so on
