THE AUTOPSY OF TODAY'S EPISODE (24.06.2011)

Today's episode is the Rock and Folk Episode

Sonu involved in a concert so unable to be at today's show. Instead of him Pritam took the place and carried his team.

First performance performed by Deewana Group of Sanjay Lee Banshali (SLB):

Song: Ba-ore Ba-ore

Result of Exorcism:

Positivity: Wow, wow and wow, What a start! Simply mind-blowing. Wonderful performance.
This group is really the pride of the show. Deserve to reach at least in the grand
finale.

Negativity: There wasn't any.

Second performance performed by Seema Jha G of Sonu Nigam's/Pritam's team:

Song: Yeh Bachu

Result of Autopsy:

Positivity: It was entertaining. There was energy up to a certain level.

Negativity: If I have to judge that compare to the original song that I have to say she
completely ruined it. Basically I will not gonna blame her. This was completely a
wrong song choice for her. Basically her voice texture doesn't suit with this type of
songs.

3rd performance performed by Geet Sagar from Shreya's Team:

Song: Aaja Aaja Dil Nichore

Result of Autopsy:

Positivity: Believe me didn't find any but the so called judges and their fake comment is really
killing me.

Negativity: Absolute besura and bakwas performance. It seemed someone was shouting for
the sake of his life. At the beginning of the show I thought he would be someone
very special but so far he is completely a disappointment at least to me. Horrible.

4th performance performed by Last Minute Girls from SLB's Team:

Song: Na Mangu Sona Chandi

Result of Autopsy:

Positivity: Ohhh shit. What's the meaning of it.

Negativity: The whole performance. Where's the sur, where's the taal really didn't find. SLB
also admitted the same. This is musical show not show up show.

5th performance performed by Sahiti from Sonu Nigam's/Pritam's Team:

Song: Aajma Luck Aajma

Result of Autopsy:

Positivity: I have no words to describe about this performance. A fantastic performance to
remember for many many days. Salute to her.

Negativity: She left the hell situation for others and that's the only negativity I found for others.

6th performance performed by Kartar Singh Ji from Shreya's Team:

Song: Barbar Dekho Hajar Bar Dekho

Result of Autopsy:

Positivity: Was there any? Currently I am looking for my magnifying glass to find one.

Negativity: Kartar Ji and his music killing continues. Was completely besura.

7th performance performed by Nirmitee Group from SLB's Team:

Song: Munniya Chalte Musafir

Result of Autopsy:

Positivity: A very good performance. There was energy and executed well.

Negativity: But didn't like their expression during the performance. It seemed bunch of
hermaphrodites were performing.

8th performance performed by Shovon Ganguly from Sonu Nigam's/Pritam's Team:

Song: Yeh Zindegi

Result of Autopsy:

Positivity: I know this boy has real potentialities. Today was just not his day.

Negativity: A lot of mistakes he made. His voice was too flat and the performance was week.

9th performance performed by Amit Yadhav from Shreya's Team:

Song: Gaddite Haas Bol

Result of Autopsy:

Positivity: For the first time I liked his performance because this was his best performance so
far. At least better than the previous ones.

Negativity: Still to improve a lot. Missed sur in few places and was flat couple of times.

A very important note: I think Shreya has some weaknesses on Amit. This is the 3rd time she hugged him for nothing and during one of the rehearsal time the way she looked at Amit (Last week) ... you better guess. Lol

10th performance performed by Piyush from Sonu Nigam's Team:

Song: O Meter Down

Result of Autopsy:

Positivity: There was not too many. Only there were some energies during the performance.

Negativity: Again a very bad performance by him. Didn't enjoy.

11th performance performed by Last Sajda Sisters from SLB's Team:

Song: Nibura Nibura

Result of Autopsy:

Positivity: I am a fan of these sisters. Always performed well. But it could be much better.

Negativity: They performed much better than this performance earlier. Hope to see them
better again.

BEST PERFORMANCE:

Sahiti. The most deserving one.

Final result of Autopsy (Verdict):

An average show but were few mind blowing performances. So excused.

I agree with your comment abt Shreya and Amit. it is really looking odd.. hugs after hug for no apparent reason.. She also praised his look today.. completely unrleated and uncalled for to describe someone's look in a talent show..

Shreya is messing it up big time.I am loosing all the respect for her.

Antar Bhai great observations, interesting frank opinion ( sorry surgery).
Have yet to watch it but sounds like fun.
The Drama returns it seems😆
Hope they remove the misery of some singers, euthanasia.

Summer Bhai believe me despite the show's car crashing performances carrying on it didn't turned into a train wreck for Sahiti and Deewana groups extreme performances. Some others performances were also good but not to their standards. The mist is not cleared yet but can guess where to go from here. 😃

Deewana group - Nice harmony but somehow couldnt enjoy their performance this time. They can do even better

Seema - The kid got talent but its just not her day. Bad song selection

Geet - Every episode is rock for him. Got bored as soon as he started singing (screaming???)

Last Minute - As usual no harmony. They seem good enough for choirs

Sahiti - Am very glad she won best performance as well as SLB's rose.. Truly deserving. I want to see her win the show

Kartar - This time i dint have to sing the lyrics myself. I dont see why they make 63yr old uncle dance when he's struggling even to remember lyrics.

Nirmitee - Never enjoyed their performance but today was something.

Shovon - I guess he missed Sonu a bit too much., more than Seema i could say. He is my favourite after Sahiti

Amit - Like someone said on this forum, he finally realized this is a singing show. Good going

Piyush - He was just ok but if doesnt buck up soon he'll be out in no time

Sajda sisters - Enjoyed their performance. Nothing much to say

Simply my POV. Hope i dint offend anyone :)

Thanks for the awesome analysis, I agree with a lot of what you said but not all of it. I thought Piyush was good, not great. Song did suit his voice. I thought

seema was horrible, it didn't suit her.

Last minute, girls, I fast forwarded it. It hurt my hears to much. No harmony and way to pitchy.

Amit did a good job but I think the fact that he was concentrating so much took away from his overall performance. , I'm sure sherya has a small crush, he is very good looking and her age! but she still does come across very professional.

Geet was trying to hard. Kartar ji is cute, but it was like any uncle singing.

Shati was really good! But I actually thought bhoomi did a better job and that is very rare to hear that. But she still was really good, its a very western song, so I applaud her for how well she did.

Nirmtee, love them. They did a great job, it wasn't there best but it was still way better than most. They know true music! I think they are very different, and India doesn't quite get it yet. They harmonize as well as boys 2 men, backstreet boys etc. I personally think two of the guys on that group are good looking, I don't know how you think they are hermaphrodites. Dewanna group, I'm starting to love them more and more too. They rock and they have such good voices all of them! Going from filmy song yesterday to a folk song! They rock!

I think Last mintue + Geet/Kartar ji should be bottom two. Please India don't repeat putting two amazing acts in the bottom again.

I echo everyone's comments on this show. It truly is one of the worst singing reality shows ever. Piyush who was my favourite in the audition rounds has been pretty weak so far. However, his voice texture is different so I am pretty sure that even if he gets eliminated very soon, he will get singing opportunites in bollywood. Pritam commented about his voice quality in today's episode and said he might do some recordings with him.
