Gangsarvagya's unexpected visit to Vallabhdev's palace surprises him. Gangsarvagya warns Vallabhdev about Mahmud Ghaznavi's military expedition. Vallabhdev and Vijaylaxmibai are terrified on hearing about the marauding army.

Kirit Chalukya refuses to attend the inauguration of the temple. Kirit Chalukya asks Dadda Chalukya to take proper care of Vallabhdev in his absence.

Dadda Chalukya organizes a lavish reception for Vallabhdev, Vijaylaxmi and other guests from Patan.

Prince Bheemdev decides to fool Shobhna by introducing his friend as the Prince and himself as his friend. Shobhna, however, sees through the deception and identifies the real prince. Bheemdev is impressed with Shobhna's intelligence. Shobhna decides to play a prank on Bheemdev and introduces herself as Chapla, the chief servant of princess Shobhana.
