In honor of Lord Shiva, the subjects of Saurashtra present a play based on the Moon god in front of the learned Gang Sarvagya.

Gang Sarvagya is impressed with the young girl who played Lord Shiva and offers to show her the Somnath temple.

Gang Sarvagya is alarmed when he has visions of marauding armies. Gang Sarvagya's fears are relieved when he sees Shobha stopping the marauding armies and protecting the prestige of Gujarat as well as the Somnath temple.

King Vallabhdev of Saurashtra, a devout of Lord Somnath, meets Dadda Chalukya, the king of Bharuch and Shobhana's uncle. Daddachalukya invites Vallabhdev and his wife Vijaylaxmi to inaugurate the temple in Bharuch.

Dadda Chalukya meets Bheemdev, Vallabhdev's son and is impressed with archery skills. Dadda Chalukya invites Bheemdev and his friends to Bharuch and tells them about his niece Shobhana. At Bharuch palace, Shobhana is distressed on witnessing the plight of a poor woman. She hands over her gold bangles to the woman.
