Well that would explain why she decided to make her grand comeback into Bollywood all of a sudden!
Bollywood is abuzz about the big news regarding Boney Kapoor latest job. While he's taken a hiatus with his film production business due to lagging funds and growing debts to pay off, the Beast has accepted a full-time 9 to 5 gig with media conglomerate Sahara India. BK will be heading their television division which is also struggling btw! Because of this sudden job announcement, B-town is convinced that he and Sridevi are having some financial issues! In hushed tones, it's being said that in a bid to pay back all debtors and to maintain their fancy schmancy lifestyle, Boney has decided to accept the job to head the television division of Sahara.
For starters, other than the Salman Khan starrer Wanted, Boney hasn't seen a decent hit at the BO in recent times to pay the bills. Moreover due to lack of funds, he was forced to shelf many films currently in the can, including a film starring Genelia D'Souza and Harman Baweja. Whew, shelving that project would probably turn out a bigger profit than actually releasing it!
In addition to his debt problem, Sridevi seems to be a bigger contributing factor to Boney's money woes! A Kapoor familyformer accountant reliable source dished the details of their expenditure, and it's disgustingly wasteful! It's being alleged that Sridevi spends anywhere between Rs. 25 to 30 lakhs every MONTH on herself and her two daughters. Their expenses include, but are not limited to:
Well sh*t, if Sridevi spent any amount of that money on her husband, maybe he wouldn't be the "Beast" anymore!?
1. W*F is routine maintenance? Is Sridevi a Honda or a human? Guess those Botox fillers don't come cheap! Not to mention her two breast augmentations, one reduction, and endless rhinoplasties!
2. Sridevi is known for spending lavishly on her wardrobe, so this comes as no big surprise. I'm sure Beast knew this BEFORE he married her.
3. Now W(hy)TF does a 14 year old and a 12 year old need a weeklymani/pedi? Nothing can be said to justify that!
4. 5-star hotels in Europe and US? Um...Sridevi Honey pick up the phone and call your family members to let them know you'll be in town and to make a guest room ready for ya'll! I'm sure they can give you the cute lil shampoo/conditioner bottles that end up being swiped as "souvenirs" instead of being used, anyway!
5. 9 luxury cars!? Here's a thought, since you're strapped for cash, start a car rental agency! Kapoor's Luxury Imports! Idea money!
Cheer up Boney, now that your usefulness for being her Sugar Daddy has run out, Sridevi's paycheck will be rolling in soon enough. Her film with Gauri Shinde will be hitting the floors in July, and we hear Sridevi's got a nice chunk of change for the role! ;-)

- Wardrobe and jewelry expenses for herself and her daughters.
- Weekly trips to the most expensive hair and nail salon in the city for herself and her daughters.
- Their trips to Europe and/or US every 6 months, in which Sridevi and Boney will only stay in a 5-star hotel or higher.
- Adding to and maintaining their fleet of 9 luxury vehicles.
