whooosshhh!! The most important epi till date...And Boy~!!! Kesuda did keep me on toes...
and what I love is he is back!! The Sarcastic man is gone and the loverboy is back!!
And he is again fighting his demons...I swear the amount of pain and grief he stuffs inside him is so enormous that I would have literally burst out of that only...
So yesterday we saw the violation of the laws of nature...Generally fire melts Ice...yesterday Ice melted fire...Gulaal's tears and acceptance of her defeat, broke through the sarcastic wall Kesar had built around him...and the moment she says that she swears upon Vasant that she will not show her face to him...That is IT...he is back to the old Kesar...totally hopeless without the mere thought of Gulaal being gone from his life...
That thought breaks all his resolves...
It is amazing na...he has been so angry on her for keeping Vasant's death a secret from his family and more importantly HIM, he is angry for so dispossessing him and promising him to someone without even knowing his heart...but the moment she says that she had taken the decision considering him to be hers...he just melts...the vulnerabilty in his eyes was soo awesome...awww he is such a cute bachaaa😳
And so we have the lost puppy (Sorry Ganga,,,.could not find a better analogy😳) coming to his room with her last words ringing in her ears...and boy!! is he tormented!! because he so knows that this house is so important to her,..and yet ...she has sweared on Vasant that she would not show him his face...and he goes and picks up the photo of Gulaal on his desk ..and stares so longingly at that pic..as if trying to get answers from it...
I loved Gulaal's photograph...Almost like a 3d pic...it was like she was peeping out from the door somewhere...like she is peeping out from his heart and smiling at him and saying ' Bachu!! I am right here!! Where are you going to escape!!!' and then going and hiding in the deepest recesses and torment him for life..and then suddenly he gets the flashback of the same last glimpse of hers, where she is saying that she will go away from his life and never show his face again !! And he is so damn frustrated by this that he throws away the frame!!! and the way he just clutches his head between his hands!!! as if his brains would just explode!!!!
And Sudha comes...By the way this is the most weirdest marriage..apart from Kesuda marrying Talli the terrorist...the whole scenario where he is all alone throughout the ceremonies...yesterday in that Turba (the coined word : credit Funarti😳) he was jumping around with Talli and Gulaal ...but none of his friends were there...Right now also...there is no one...Normally, in a house where marriage is going to take place the next day is filled with groom's friends...there Talli is surrounded by Chunni badnaam and other brainless dimwitted friend who dont notice the constant eyelocks between Kesar and Gulaal ..and here Kesar is alone in his room, crying his heart out and the only solace he is getting is from Sudha...his bhabhi cum to-be-mother in law and to-be, to-be hate-Gulaal party leader in future...
And she sees the photograph lying down and picks it and asks Kesar whether it had fallen down..and then goes and sees Kesar almost crying and she tells him that this happens????!!!!!😕
Arre he is the groom...they have bachelor parties before marriages not crying bouts!! you idiot!! you really are the mother of that big batisi wali bhajiyagobbler terrorist!!😡
Everyone in the family is blind as a bat and dumb as a khacchar
Though, I really like Sudha at times...she has really given her heart to the child she adopted and she really cares for her..and that was reflected in her talk to Kesuda...ofcourse that makes Kesuda more aware of the horribility of the decision he has taken..
Is it me or did someone else also thought that deep down Kesar had this 'jalao Gulaal' feeling..that somehow he expected Gulaal to react, like he reacts and catch his hand publicly and tell him that he cannot marry??? after all toh, he is our brat na!! he must have thought something of the kind!!!
he was waiting for that and what he got was that she will not show her face to him again...Poor Kesuuu!!!!!
And he sits there all night crying!!! awww!!! the moment he has set his leg in Talsagra, he never has had a good sleep it seems...the only time I saw him sleep was when Gulaal came to see him...after that slap...amazingly he slept like a baby after that slap...
And in the morning Paan ba comes with his wedding clothes and he so looks at them like he is seeing some kind of snake...didn't Paan ba see tears streaming down his face...I mean she does ask about his happiness...but cant she see that he is not only not happy ..he is supremely disturbed, sad and almost at his wits end
and the way he asks Panba why does she think that he is sad??? I think this where this relationship lacks...and that is what Panba says...that she is his mother...she is bound to know...but the thing is she doesnot...she has so left him alone...and that is why Gulaal is so supremely embossed on his mind...She has never left him alone...she has always been there...if not physically...then emotionally, mentally...she is like the blood in his veins...there has not been a moment she is not with him...and even Panba knows that and that is why she starts saying that she knows he obeys Gulaal...and the name makes him shut her up...you could actually see Panba rile back...
Dont they see this 'Khula saandh' can be reigned by nobody except Gulaal...He is not even bothered with his mother...
The circumstances which bound them were very unique and this bond was stamped and sealed...he has been branded by her,..now there can be no other name on him ever...
Cant they see him searching her every moment, talking to her with his eyes every second, including her in his every action, every breath...he eats, lives and drinks Gulaal...
and I think he does go again in search of Talli to warn her off in the morning...it is really weird the way he was walking all alone in his house...just goes on to show how really alone, even in the crowd ...My heart went to this lonely soldier
And ofcourse I think it is the first time he actually is searching for Talli... and he could not meet her...normally everytime she came like an unwanted boil on his face and dropped from nowhere before him..and right now when he wants to meet her..he meets Gulaal...with whom he really cannot meet eyes...
and Gulaal is so afraid na..the moment she gets alone with him, she starts chanting the last night mantra...about him not punishing Talli...and she makes him swear on her name...and you see he becomes speechless...she then goes on to swear on Vasant's name too but obvioulsy that was redundant...the moment she made him swear her name..it was over for him...
and there comes my favourite cupid.JK is the ultimate na...phantoo timing hai uski,,,,
and we have the groom climbing down the stairs...and all the while he is looking at Gulaal...so intense is his gaze that you could actually feel the vibrations if you touch the air in between them...
Even while sudha does the tika...he is looking at Gulaal..while Sudha is doing Arti he is looking at Gulaal ...when he enters the mandap he looks at Gulaal...his eyes are brimming with tears and he is almost ready to burst...there is no way you can undermine the emotions playing on his face, yet everybody is just happy shappy...excpet Motabha...and I do believe that he will support Kesar...he was the one who had supported Vasant,,,,
And I swear the look on his face when Talli climbs down was of pure terror🤣and the music added to the errie feeling...
the look he is giving to Gulaal who is sitting beside Talli is so unbelievable...as if saying that why are you sitting there?? you should be right beside me...
Talliii!!! just open your eyes and see for once where is he looking and you would just jump in the holy pyre 😡
and ofcourse Chunni badnaam says what is going on our mind...The groom will run away anytime...
and the moment he puts the garland on Talli...all the while looking at Gulaal..did someone feel that there was a pang of pain in Gulaal's eyes... and then her smile...And Kesar still staring at her as if mentally putting the garland on her...
And ofcourse Raman refuses to do Kanyadaan of Talli ...By the way..dont these things have to be decided prior ...the Kanyadaan issue...and Motabha almsot had a apoplexy thinking that he would need to give Talli to Kesar😆
But then ofcouse Sudha volunteered to do...
And after that every ritual, Kesuda does so mechanically...as if a robot!!!
And why is it only Gulaal who sees it...i know she is the only one knowing the truth...but the way he is behaving even the pandit would have known...he was the one who lifted Kesuda's hands and put it under Talli's
And Gulaal is again having that fear of Kesar avenging himself torturing Talli...
And Kesar sits like that till The gathbandhan thing starts ...He is so much in daze na...
I swear as if he is seeing his whole life flashing across and his future life and comparing the two..he doesnot find Gulaal in his coming life...and at that point Gulaal comes for the Gathbandhan...and he has that last flash of her words...she will go away from her life...and he has that determined look...
he finally knows what to do!!!
and he is contemplating how to!! how to put in action what he has to do!!
and the pandit telling him to stand up for pheras...and he is still in his thoughts...
And he is getting flashbacks of his world revolving around Gulaal and vice versa...when he was the center of universe for her and they meant the world to each other...
He takes the first phera and the pandit tells him it is the phera of Dharma...he has to protect her and he is reminded of his convo with Gulaal when she is saying that they are like kavach for each other and Kesuda, then a child, eagerly says yes he is his kavach...he will always protect her...and at that time when the world was against them, this was so true na...Gulaal was living because of Kesar and Kesar survived because of her...he is so right..how can he forget her
Artha: that his wife is Laxmi and he will take care of her...and he is reminded of that scene where he is taking care of the injured Gulaal... kama...and then finally Mohsha...the fidelity factor which plays the role in giving the man Moksha and he gets the vrat day flashbacks...of how she had kept vrat for him...and he is crying there and then...and he stops the pheras...
Gulaal so instinctly comes by his side na...
That is why this bond is so great..neither his father or Paanba or his friend could come up as swiftly as Gulaal...
Gulaal comes to remind him of his kasam to Vasant and the way he says he will not torture Talli after marriageand boy!!!! is he clever or what!!! he says that he will not torture Talli after the marriage...but then whose marriage he is talking about...and he has tears streaming down his face...
are they blind really...he is crying...and boy !! he is standing between the two woman...trying to justify why he could not give the last vow to Talli... why he cannot leave Gulaal...
