Was it me or anyone else think that Anupam was targeted by everyone just because. If you think about, they had no real claim. For Guruv Jaggi, they did with the watch, that he was a two faced horrible person. But for Anu they keep picking on his speech, him acting all NRI and forgetting his language. Which I absolutely didn't understand, because he spook godo hindi in my opinion. And many people do take abroad culture faster then others. They way they pin pointed him it was like he did a crime to speak english or polish. Maybe he thought that would impress Ratan or something. Ratan also doubted him asking him stupid questions. Like y didn't you tell me about Shohib. Well duh, your here for a swayamvar and if your taking interest in some guy which someone else who is also a part of that swayamvar says something, it will only appear as he is trying to make you against her. Making Anu the bad guy. At that time she was blinded in Shohib. I liked what Anu said, that he didn't think it was right to interfere between two individuals. She was old enough to make her own judgement. I think his rude behavior was because it was so pissed off. He was totally different when they showed his alone clips of him talking. His answers were much better understood, but when he was talking to Ratan he just lashed out in my POV. I thought they made a good match, if you remember their date, they both were comfortable with each other, like something clicked. Shohib getting close to Ratan got Anu pissed off, he lost his mood, you can consider that jealousy also. And the only time you start feeling jealousy like that is when you truly feel something for that person. So Ratan should use her brain, it wasn't negativity, it was is anger that she was getting close to some stupid person. Well whatever it may be, I agree with him, he came there to make a connection if that connection does not happen its better he leaves, there is no point in stretching his position to the top 5 or 3...

You're bang on! 👏
I'm an NRI myself, and though I've always lived here, I see other people that have just come from India and completely adapted to their new surroundings. And clearly, Anupam had done just that - it's only natural for him to change a bit.
There was no reason for everyone to gang up on him. I didn't think he'd ever done anything un-Hindustani; most of the time, he spoke Hindi, and very well too. And I hadn't heard him say anything against India either. I appreciate that a lot of what goes on is off camera or may be edited out, but he's evidently not being different on and off screen, because none of the others suggested that.
As for the Shoaib issue...what was she expecting him to say? It's her Swayamwar, her dulhe, and her decision. If anything, I think Anupam had been quite mature in the way that he just let things be. He knew that she'd realise eventually, and that if he tried interfering, things were just bound to get sour between him, Ratan and Shoaib.
In all fairness, Anupam didn't help himself by getting stroppy when he and Ratan were talking. And I didn't agree with him when he said that there's no point of a relationship where you have to explain yourself. The way I see it, there are bound to be some misunderstandings, especially when they don't know each other that well yet. Having to talk to each other does not make a relationship "faltu."
But yes, he did have reason to get annoyed. Ratan was asking him such stupid questions! And he'd just been ganged up on for practially no reason.
Though he wasn't my favourite dulha, and though I don't think he'd actually have been the perfect match for Ratan, I do still feel that he was accused wrongfully, and that he was definitely misunderstood.

i had only seen Anu - Ratan date scene in S3.. and i really thot they had a chemistry.. and Anu seemed most eligible in every way of the whole lot... he is okay looking.. and neywas Ratan is not grt looking either and also Anupam seemed most genuine person.. and very frank.. i liked him.. and of course a guy from a gud family wanting to marry a gud girl wont interfere in girls matters.. he wud sit and observe.. in the date, he said he had done some background check on Ratan as well.. so his intentions were clear 4rm day 1.. he wanted to know Ratan more.. and instead of giving him more chance she was busying herself with faltu Shoaib.. whom from her POV was not a husband material..
in short, Ratan jst looks mature and composed, and actually she isnt.. at 21, she is not in age or frame of mind or careerwise right to marry... some mature 25-30 yr old guys.. by knowing jst for a month or so.. clearly she looked v v confused and her decisions and logic behind thm was weird.. i still dont get wat kind of person she is looking for..😆

I agree that he was attacked for no reason. Especially the forgot his culture part. Like what the hell? I think the guys are just jealous. Poland really isn't the most wealthy country in Europe. So it's just ridiculous they attacked him.

On the other hand I thought his attitude was not really smart. I totally understand why he was like this, because he was like why do I have to explain myself. And he was very quiet and didn't want to defend himself coz it was not necessary in his opinion. This is an attitude a lot of guys take when 'attacked', so it;s kinda natural. But on the other hand he doesn't know how stupid Ratan actually is, she does not understand why he is acting like this. Therefore, she will take it totally differently. This will have a negative influence, so eventhough he didn't wanted to he should have been a little more social and tell what is on his heart. That is what girls need after all :) But then again, I understand why he didn't want to suck up. Take me as I am, you don't understand me, then this is not a good match.
