She feels alone and lost among her own. Incomplete despite all she has.
She keeps searching for the missing half of her life. And has found her way to it without any directions. But they say she doesn't remember 'him'.
The lingering whispers keep calling her name. Keep calling her back to the jungle, the place where they met often.
Where she feels she belongs, where her heart is.
The place where her soul still stands waiting for her to find him…to be herself again.
She still hears his voice far from. She speaks to him without words.
He flows through her veins like blood. He whispers in her every breath. His name escapes her lips without even her knowing.
She feels his presence everywhere. Feels connected only to him.
But still they say she doesn't remember him.
But little do they know that she remembers him. Remembers everything.
Her memory failed her but her heart didn't.
Defying all logic and reason she had ran to him once and again today she ran to him breaking all the barriers of this world and the other; she had found him.
Darkness envelopes her but a light within guides her to him.
She stands there paralyzed for a moment as the sight of him locked in that cold glass box makes her gasp for breath at the same time the thought of being near him calms her, the restlessness finally settling.
She sits near him, the cold breeze hugging her but still she feels warm and safe more than she ever had.
With a weary smile on her face she runs a hand on the ice slab softly calling his name.
A lone tear escapes her eyes and falls on the ice, seeping through it to her sleeping love;
breaking the curse.
The tiny figure wrapped in green then lies down hugging the frost.
Drop by drop the tears flow, melting the spell and so awakening her love from his deep slumber.
Her heart beats echo in his silent chest and as she opens her eyes she sees the familiar face looking down on her.
A soft smile forms on her lips as her light fingers caress his face.
She can read the questions in his eyes and as an answer she whispers only, "I remember."
Then gently rests her head on his chest, letting the tears dry as he holds her tight in his arms.
That moment it felt as if tomorrow and yesterday had crossed over. Time and space had lost dimension.
It all seemed an accident of fate, no reason and logic, but also because it was meant to be.
They are meant to be.
