Regarding the disconnect between the critics and the viewers...The disconnect was always there... Certain genres of movies are not appealing to the critics and in the awards circuit... This masala genre is one of them... Most of the times they are trashed by the critics and are ignored at the awards and they go on to become Blockbusters...

Same happened during Akshay's peak too couple years back... Each and every movie of his would be trashed by the critics and he was laughing all the way to the bank with back to back hits and BB's...

Now its happening again with Salman and his movies and she is feeling the back lash because of her views... Now with the social networking sites its easy to to target any one and Anupama is at the receiving end...

Anyways... Regarding movies, Its a personal choice and not all movies appeal to all people... Mix opinions will be there...
