A young man was gunned down by Rangers on Wednesday evening in an alleged 'encounter' that appeared to be killing from firing at point-blank range in a footage released hours after the incident.
A spokesman for the Sindh Rangers said the 25-year-old Sarfaraz Shah was killed after an encounter with Rangers personnel deployed outside the Benazir Shaheed Park in the city's Boat Basin area after he was 'caught red-handed' while snatching cash and valuables from visitors.

I'm not sure but I'm suspecting that rangers thought that the guy was going to blow himself up as those rangers are trained to shoot first and ask questions later.Now the stories are circulating that 5 another bullets were shot after busting his knee caps.?
The child was scared for his life and was begging for them to leave him alone and unarmed, these people think they are above god! The situation could be handled in better way. Like? a fire in air to show the boy that rangers are serious about it and could shoot if required, or a shot below knees etc.Why he was shot twice? Why not shot below knees? Why he was sent to hospital so late that he expired?
